I also got few models at my hand to choose from : Gigabyte, Sapphire Nitro & MSI
I am inclined towards 5700 because is cheaper.
Any advice? Is my choice the best in terms of ROI?

If you can get the non TX version of RX5700 then go for it, the hashrate is roughly the same and some hardcore miners even prefers RX5700 over the RX5700XT, their hashrate speed is around 50MH to 54MH or even more, the RX5700 will safe you more $$$

I have both, 5700 xt and non xt version
Both have the same hashrate in ETH, and you can modify the bios if you want to reach more than 54Mhs. I would pick the 5700 because it's cheaper and the brand with more warranty in your country (in my country are MSI and Gigabyte with 3 years, Sapphire only 1 year here)
Both cards have a good price compared to new cards like RTX and big Navis, and you'll probably reach ROI before any other new card with inflated prices

Both RX5700 and the XT are same to me, just appt few tweaks and you will get better hashing speed on the RX5700, some even BIOS mod their RX5700 to unlock extra MH when mining Ethereum or other Ethash, use google to find tutorial about how to BIOS mod ythe RX5700

Yes RX5700 is the best choice because they are less cheaper than RX5700XT and also less power hungry, many likes overclocking for mining but the problem is after the graphic cards gets hotter they lose few Hashrates, it's not a must to overclock for balance mining, infact your card will draw less energy if you downclock the memory

Getting either one for cheaper price should be your first target, either the XT version or the Non XT it doesn't matter, the difference between this two cards are very limited, few Hashrates difference when mining Ethereum, buy at cheaper price and you will get ROI faster
