BTC reached another ATH, what about ETH?

If bitcoin made a new All Time High record now in the crypto market, do you think  Ethereum will also follow and break it's ATH last year January 2018 which is more than $1000?

We have always observed that if bitcoin rises in value, most altcoins follow as well. Even now that bitcoin has reached another ATH, altcoins are also increasing and now, market is in green celebrating the bitcoins new record.

Bitcoin has already hit 21k a short while ago so I think it is high time eth should give a big move up, personally I cannot wait to see eth back at previous high price and then above.

Bitcoin’s first and later on altcoins will follow especially ETH. I have a strong feeling that the altcoin season will come big early next year and we have to wait for that and start holding more good altcoins. If its possible for Btc to reach another peak then same with altcoins, its just a matter of time and patience.

Well, Ethereum ATH is about $1,432 (CMC data). It is still far from the current Ethereum price ($633), but there is a chance for Ethereum to achieve its ATH if the crypto market continues in a positive trend. Moreover, if more people invest in Ethereum after ETH 2.0. Actually, the Ethereum price chart isn't too different from the Bitcoin chart, it follows the improvement in Bitcoin price. If Bitcoin continues to have the bullish season in 2021, Ethereum may achieve its new ATH next year.

There are many huge investments coming into the ETH market and the situation is favorable as many are investing money to stake the coin as well and hence crossing the all time high valuation wont be a big issue and i am expecting the price to start rallying by next year and we might see the price of ETH touching new valuations.

This must be rectified regarding the increase in Bitcoin prices that occurred this year, which is very different from what happened in 2017.
So the current Bitcoin price increase has strong fundamentals supported by several large investors, so there is no pump and dump like what
happened in 2017. This ultimately has an effect on the increase in the price of Ethereum which is unlikely to reach the ATH price this year,
because the increase in the price of ETH is slower than the increase in the price of Bitcoin. So it's possible that by the end of this year Bitcoin
will hit new all-time high prices, while Ethereum will likely only hit a price of $ 700.

Bitcoin's new recorded high value is somewhat amazing, and yet as I've woke up after deep sleep that really made me so delightful. The legacy was only experienced all alone with btc, but not with altcoins or eth because it never indicates something good even though at $19k price of btc. Altcoins investors and traders didn't seem to be happy with the recent updates, and it's too hard for them to move while market continued to be slow in growth.

Lets remember the time where Ethereum reached its ATH at ~$1300.

That time is the time where ICO's are booming. That is the time where ICO are booming and all of the new projects are under the Ethereum blockchain and in order for you to invest into that projects, you must buy Ethereum to get the tokens. Law of supply and demand. More demand, less supply = higher price.

Now that isn't the case right now with Ethereum. Yes there are some DeFi projects that are being created but not all of them are either not Ethereum blockchain or it is not as boom as it is compare to the ICO hype way back 2017. Anyway, I believe that the previous ATH of Ethereum will be reached but not this year or in 2021. Possible after 2-3 years.

yes it will but not for now. Bitcoin dominance is huge right now. once bitcoin made new moves, it was difficult for altcoins to keep up. so first bitcoin must be stable or there is a new correction in the bitcoin market. then ethereum and all the altcoins can start moving.

This new all-time-high of Bitcoin is really different compare to the previous one (December 2017 - 2018) which we really saw the run of altcoins, especially the Ethereum.
If we follow the price action of previous Bitcoin's all-time-high, Ethereum should be now more than $1,000. But look, it's still around $600, around 50% from its all-time high.
Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I started to accumulate Ethereum before. That's why now I am thinking that, if I just bought Bitcoin instead of Ethereum before, I may more profitable. But it's okay, I can wait, Ethereum still got more room to grow.

One step at a time, after bitcoin alts are potentially to follow especially ETH residing next to
bitcoin and have a strong community plus the upcoming ETH 2.0 resaon that can consider as
good way of storing and adding this project to your porfolio, It's  up to though as the market
still prone to every correction, buy and hold if you have lots of spare money.

The price of Bitcoin rose now to $21K and now sitting there for a while now.

This just proves how strong the price is going and it might go over $25K if this strong wave continues to hit this price chart. Since Bitcoin is continuing to go strong, I think other cryptocurrencies will follow. Ethereum and the other altcoins would obviously go next, this will be a parade as it happened in the past as Bitcoin reached $19K.

That's true but it will be a very difficult thing to do. This time the movement of ethereum is pegged with bitcoin. We can't deny the fact that if bitcoin is controlling the bullrun right now. If ethereum is still following bitcoin and ATH is just a dream. Ethereum must leave from the domination of bitcoin. Ethereum needs to be doubled to achieve its ATH.
I doubt this will happen shortly.

It's a possibility since the market cap of Ethereum pales comparison to Bitcoin. There must be a greater driving force for ETH, not just because Bitcoin reached ATH, there should be something else outside. Maybe 2.0 completion will make that happen? I don't know, we don't know. But what I know is that Ethereum's future is still limitless at this point.

It could break the All Time High once the rally last for a long days until next year. We know that it is not impossible to hit that price where Ethereum was there before. It is also possible to go beyond the all time high and write the new record of ATH. Ethereum is potential and always able to recover from bearish.

I think Ethereum all-time high(ATH) will come in the next altcoin season, currently Bitcoin is so dominance it's hard for ethereum to follow Bitcoin price.

Eth will definitely reach a new ATH but when this will happen is what I don't know, but I really hope it happens soon as this will help altcoins most especially, those running on Ethereum blockchain increase in value, this bull run has proven to be really different from that of 2017/2018, Ethereum should be well above 1000 usd Or near it by now but I guess ones btc retraces, eth and some other good altcoins will follow in the bull run, fingers crossed for 2021.

 Since BTC/ETH pair is mostlly used in trading. Then I believe ETH will gonna hit new ATH soon following bitcoin steps. Defi projects still booming with ETH 2.0 launched. This may somehow still be a strong indications that Ethereum will gomma be stronger than before. Hitting new ATH is also around the corner. Let's see.
