I have a peeled Lealana coin. I used the Private Key to import into an Electrum wallet, however for whatever reason Electrum says the wallet has 50 mBTC. Thing is, I looked the address up on a block explorer and it says it has 0.05BTC. So I'm wondering what wallet can I use to import the PK on the coin, and get the correct amount of BTC within? I tried running Armory however, that doesn't seem to work on my crappy Mac. Appreciate any help!

I've used Mycelium (phone app) to sweep everything with mini private keys. Lealana uses this format and you should not have a problem with it. The correct address is whatever the private key turns into on Mycelium. (You'll input the 30ish digits into making an account from private key and it will give you the corresponding public key and amount loaded.) You sound like you may be an Apple guy though, I only have experience with the Android client.

I have been using Ballet Wallets to import the keys. Their app works flawless on iphone with no issues whatsoever..

Just FYI, You will need a physical Ballet wallet too to add to ur app in which u will redeem the btc. Plenty of people here are official resellers of ballet wallets and can help u with that.

50 mBTC = 0.05 BTC whats wrong? I thought the same thing initially but the subject is: I have a peeled Lealana 0.1BTC coin - having trouble importing wallet So only half of the amount is accounted for.

Ballet is awesome, but until they offer you a choice of miner fees to pay you should DEFINITELY use Coinomi for the BTC portion. Then once the BTC is swept(because they allow you to choose whatever fees you need based upon your need for urgency) then re-scan the private key with Ballet to sweep all the other forks. I am hoping someone from Ballet will listen to this and allow for the end user to choose which fees we wish to pay for sweeping the BTC. Until they do you should ABSOLUTELY use Coinomi. It's magically easy much like Ballet but ridiculously cheaper using Coinomi!

I thought the same thing initially but the subject is: I have a peeled Lealana 0.1BTC coin - having trouble importing wallet So only half of the amount is accounted for. yes that is what the title states but the op also said block explorer shows .05 BTC and the private key yielded him 50mBTC which is the same thing. So, either the title is wrong or the part about the block explorer saying .05 BTC is wrong.

No worries OP, getting into millibitcoin is confusing unless you train yourself to think that way.

either way - if the block explorer for the address and the imported private key show the same amount - then no type of different imports is likely to yield a different amount.
