Is there a bitcoin profit tool/calculator/app?

A simple tool that tells you how much you have in profit only, based on current rates. Or one where you would enter how much bitcoin you bought and at what rates and then you would enter the current rates and it'd chrun out the profit you made.

Example:

The rates are 1 BTC = $1,000

You buy 1 BTC for $1,000 today

After 10 days the rates become 1 BTC for $2,000

So the tool will say $1000, which is the profit as of right now.

If by chance you're owning a ledger wallet, you have downloaded the Ledger Live App which is required to download for you to check your stored crypto on your device.

The Ledger Live App shows how much you've gained/loss per week, per month and per year. And on the transaction history, it shows how much was the coin you've sent by that time.

Isn't it easy to calculate it manually? I mean, you can just do something like a price now/price when you buy * the amount of bitcoin you hold. That being said, there is a website for this, such as https://www.cryptoground.com/bitcoin-profit-calculator.

Coinstats^[1]: provides a modern way to track and calculate earnings, as you add currencies manually or add the address, or the public key.
The application will calculate the price change, your profits, and the percentage of the price increase in addition to alerts when the price rises above a certain level.


Generally, if you care about privacy, the previous method might not seem appropriate (because it uses a third party), but it is better than doing it manually.

You can also use a portfolio manager for this case, and it will do the calculations for you. You only have to import your exchange's API key into it (of course make sure you disable withdrawals and taking orders when you are generating the key) or import your watch-only address which is holding your coins

The portfolio manager will automatically calculate the profits you have made in 24 hours, week or months. I will also display the graph.

Well yes there are apps that tell you that and you can either see your profit in Days, Weeks or Months what I use is the ledger live https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live and blockfolio app in mobile https://blockfolio.com/

Any decent portfolio tracking app should do what you're looking for[1]. If you find these options to be a bit "overkill" then you should probably use something like this[2] instead.

You could check it from wherever you are trading? I mean it would show you the result shouldn't it? You should see with how much you got in, and how much you got out, at that point all you have to do is calculate from initial to end result and you will see the result, not really that high math required for such a simple task but you can use a calculator instead.

I am sure nobody would really start a whole website just for this but there are some examples you can find here that has parts of their website calculating this and they are not connected, so you would have to once again do what I told you to do and put these information on a calculator instead, which I would say not even needed because you could simply just put that same info into calculator and it would tell you how much you have made from trading or tell you how much you have lost.

Use apps have risks and if you care about your information (privacy), and security with backdoors, threats from apps, you would calculate it manually.

Excel sheet (not Google sheet) can help you. It is not automated update sheet and every day you have to update your sheet. Bought price, today price, and profit/ loss. In the sheet, you can have columns for exchange names, links to trading pair for each coin.

Google sheet is bad as your information can be leaked or sold. Don't consider to store your excel sheet file on Google Drive, Drop box

It is a a free script for Google sheet and you need to spend sometime to edit it as the guide shows. I am not sure about the script and I don't know that it allows you to change from coingecko.com to coinmarketcap.com.
