That was also what I originally thought, 2 days ago my friend wanted to try investing in bitcoin when it was under $19.5k. I forbid her which I thought was too high to buy and the price will immediately correct like a few weeks ago. Now I have no words for seeing reality.
In conclusion, any time you can always start with the consequence will be waiting longer to sell in case the price drops.

Non availability of any resistance that can trigger a price Action which the price could settle for a retracement or pullback  is strong signal that the price can dump massively just like the event in 2017 when bitcoin reached all time high, this is indeed a sound warning from the OP so that many investors wouldn't be caught unaware of any dump of course history repeat itself, I am sure a lot of speculations now is that price will reach $50K or $100K thus a lot of investors or hodlers will be carried away with this kind of predictions while some clever trades will take partial profit now in case of any eventuality of the price dumping.

This sound like a good warning, I remember during the hype in the year 2017 that I bought at 17k, I waited for nearly 3 years before getting anything out of it, although I am a newbie then, just jump into the HYPE. My case now is once beating, twice shine, I am more than careful and always stick with the trend of chart movement.

This is not normal dude.
BTC’s current price is really high and there isn’t any guarantee that it will keep on rising.
That’s why the OP was warning with the price of the coin.
I could also advise the same don’t buy BTC atm, wait for sometimes till it crashes. Else you gonna face losses.

I did loose a lost in 2017 when I decided to save my bitcoins and had to encash in emergency back when the price went down. If I would have encashed and brought in January - Feb , it would have been more then amazing to see the gains in 2020. This is what I always think. There is always going to be a regret on what you must have done and what you should do but at the end of the day if you are intellegent enough you will either encash when the price is at its peak or you would either trade.
Someone told me that you should never buy when the price is climbing and this high but 😂 I do think I will try and use some of my savings for this indeed. See we don't know what's going to happen. Many investors , companies , firms , they are all trying to make the best use of these cryptocurrencies now a days and therefore the money has been pooling in so I do believe you should be very careful with whatever you are going to go since no one can know what's going to happen next. Literally no one ! At the same time we should always understand that bitcoins did drop 7% hours after reaching the all time high that means a number of people are now encashing and waiting for it to drop more. This is not scary but really exciting , if you play your cards right you can get a lot of profit.

He only want to suggest to enter only when the market is stable , unlike right now that you don't know what will be the next move of bitcoin it may up or down . Even analysis hard to predict what will going to happen in Bitcoin thats why other traders move to other altcoin for short trade instead entering this Bitcoin market in today price .you can get stuck and go lost if you are not careful  with your entry point.

I would agree with you that some of this all time high pricing is hype, but much of it is not.  Not to mention, hype is something that may not be tangible, but it is real, and it's often what leads to many traditional investments such as stocks like Tesla, to go much higher. 

The truth is you, myself, and everyone else has no actual idea where the bitcoin price is heading.  You say not to buy right now, but the fact is it could be the lowest it'll ever go.  I honestly don't believe that, and think it will come back down a bit..but to advise others is risky business when you don't know for sure.

The bullrun just started, it may drop back to at least 18K again but will keep pushing up until it breaks another ATH, its really just too early to warn people about the bear market that will come. Lets wait til the price of altcoins also rocket if not then this is still the most early phase. There could be some hiccups and some dumps going to happen along the way but rest assured the institutional investors are coming.

OP is just reminding us to be careful right now who knows what might happen next.
If you have been around before 2017 ATH you would also feel the same way.
We don't know how much it could rise we don't even know when it would fall or have a correction so we should really be cautious about it.

That is precisely why it is dangerous, I am happy we are seeing a new ATH but whenever we see something like this there is always the possibility that there is a reduction in the price just when you buy and it is going to be very difficult for you to take a decision at that point, because if you sell then you get out of your position relatively quickly with losses but if you keep holding your position the losses could accumulate, the safest option is just to keep whatever bitcoin you are holding now and not let go of it.

The next few days for BTC will be very interesting as the market now is extremely hot, I think big scale investors are filling their bags as the demand is increasing.

Those who are planning to buy for long-term can make entry anytime but for short-term buyers it's highly risky and I would suggest not to buy at this point of time people are encouraging the market so I believe this pump will work for few more days.

You're one of those people who are always afraid. When Bitcoin was trading for 5000 early this year you were probably thinking that it could revisit 1000 and recommending people to wait and see. Now that it's above 20 thousand you're also telling people to wait and see. For some people, like you OP, there will never be a right moment.

If it would fall from here back to 15 thousand would you buy? Probably not. You'd think that it's the end of the bull market and that we should wait for the bottom

People said the same thing at $0.50 and then at dollar parity and then at $30 and then at $100 and $1000, $5000 $10000.

"The price is too high."  "It won't hold." "It is a scam/ponzi". etc

If you aren't sure, invest 10% each week for the next 10 weeks.  Or 5% for twenty.

Every time this happens people say similar things and just buy some at some point and hold it.  I've been saying the same thing for 10.5 years.

That's right mate, when bitcoin is at a peak it is indeed for investors and traders in general should be careful if it wants to enter this phase,
to avoid losing out  when   the  worst  schemes occur.  like when the  price suddenly drops so fast.  But yesterday I saw a correction
from $23K to $21K. And bitcoin is back on top again.

It's not a good thing to fomo on Bitcoin now except for those that are good in scalping. Even though Bitcoin is still bullish, it's more wise to wait to buy cheap than buying a pump. You can get dumped on at anytime and you keep holding till you wake up one day to sell at loss.

It's not a good time to buy if you don't have made up your plan and you see it as an expensive. But whether you be careful or not once these institutional investors keeps buying at any point, you have to wait until it price downs a bit because it recovers as quickly as we can imagine.

If this might happen after the ATH (All Time High) then this proves to me that history repeat itself. If ever after the two much awaited season to end this year the bitcoin's price drop then we should be already used about what happened way back 2017 and already learned from this past experience. And yes, we should be careful about bitcoin's price at this point, this is a constant reminder that we should be watchful and not be feel comfortable because any possibilities are possible here in crypto.
