Here is a list of top 7 platforms for Dapps, that have actual value in their Dapps, whole list is published by FlipSide Crypto 1. EthereumEthereum is toping the list, as a market leader, which seems obvious for everyone in the industry, having 1966 active Dapps on Ethereum network at the moment, with actual market for buy/sell artifacts from them 2. Binance Coinwhile Ethereum is an obvious pick, Binance Coin is not that obvious to be placed on top 2 spot, especially with hype around Polkadot as Ethereum killer, but in reality Binance Coin has 91 active Dapps on the platform however, compared to Ethereum, Developer activity on the platform is much lower, and FCAS tracker is hovering around 700 at the moment, far from 965/1000 for Ethereum it could be said that DeFi accelerator Fund is primary reason for rising number of Dapps on Binance Coin platform 3. TronTron is placed third, with 52 Dapps active on the platform, and much stronger Developer activity than Binance Coin, laying on 850 according to FCAS tracker for Code change social network marketing activities could be seen as main driver for Tron 4. EOSEOS is fourth, with 32 active Dapps, and Code change activity similar to Tron, around 850, but much higher Code improvements factor, laying on almost 950/1000 easy way to implement Dapp games on EOS seems to be good driver for the network, more can be found on following link https://battles.eos.io/5. NEONEO is actually on spot five, with 26 active Dapps at the moment, with technical and marketing support from The NEO EcoBoost Project seen as a driver for growth 6. Waveswhile top 5 are broadly popular and familiar to the community, Waves succeed to be placed on position 6, so above some hyped platforms like Zilliqa, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana with 22 active Dapps on the platform connection to OKex for DeFi application development is probably main driver for them to hold position 6 7. StellarStellar has 20 active Dapps and it is closing the list of platforms with at least 10 active Dapps that have open market all the other platforms for Dapps that are currently present on the market, or have on-going development do not have 10 active Dapps that have open market and buyers/sellers, which makes the platform attractive for users, including Tezos, Zilliqa, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana, Hive, Steem and similar

Wow! I'm not following any of those projects except Ethereum, but I really expected Cardano, Zilliqa, Tezos and other "old" projects to have many more dApps just because they are "alive" for quite some time. Polkadot is still new so it's understandable that they don't have dApps built on their network. But for those "old" ones I really thought that they had more dApps.

In a few months you can add Dash to above list. Dash will be launching its Dash Platform in less then two weeks on Dash Testnet. Both have been on Dash Evonet (Dash public testnet for developers) for over a year. Dash Platform & DashPay (a mobile wallet Dapp) are scheduled for release on Dash Mainnet in Q1, 2021 DashPay will be Dash first Dapp and it will utilize : blockchain registered usernames, contacts, notifications, paying directly to usernames, adding pictures to your profile, storing the application data of Dapps directly on the masternodes network (Drive) and will use a decentralized HTTP API called DAPI (which will be the first decentralized API in the world). Dash Platform & DashPay have been in development for 5 years, and were previously known as Dash Evolution. DashPay can be used on both iOS & Android mobile phones. yeah, there is a smoke, but there is no fire in those platforms/networks, maybe it is still early stage, but some of those are here almost as some established ones on the list, namely Waves that surprised me, but when you look at the price, it is obvious that something is going-on on that network, with high returns this year it is always good to check the facts, before going with the hype In a few months you can add Dash to above list. maybe Dash will make it to the list next year, but it seems that some other players are also without users as well there are many platforms for Dapps, but number of users, and especially value share is low for those platforms, I do not think that Dash will change that, but hopefully will provide some new functions next year

DashPay will make it a lot more easy to do payments, as users will not have to deal with long cryptographic addresses anymore, that will all shift into the background. They can just pay to a blockchain-registered username. I suspect DashPay will start to receive massive usage in countries like Venezuela next year, that due to hyper inflation rely more and more on cryptocurrency for their daily purchases. Dash is already doing really well there, i think the DashPay Dapp will drive Dash adoption even further. If the goal for cryptocurrency is to reach mainstream adoption (actually using crypto to buy basic goods and services), then making things easy and safe to use for both users and merchants should be a focus point from day 1, and not an after thought.

agree on this one, but there is plenty of alternatives, and neither have users at the moment hopefully, with mass adoption there will be users on all platforms, Hive has instant, fee-less transfers, easy to remember address, even regular users that are using their blog, and incentive through gaming voting, and there is no active market or users on gaming applications, it is not that easy as it seems to make it economically viable

I am not following all of them but I have some small stake in Polkadot and quite big one in Cardano so I'll give my opinion just on that two. Polkadot is quite new and is just now breaking on the scene and I am expecting much more dApps soon. There is quite a lot of developers working on them so hopefully some of them will be useful. Cardano still does not have smart-contract capabilities. They should be coming very soon. It is quite difficult to make dApps without smart contracts wouldn't you agree? Programing language used for smart contracts on Cardano is called Plutus and based on Haskell. Did not try it yet but it should be easier to use than Solidity and should be much safer in exploitation. Just the way it compiles code does not allow for some tactics that are used to exploit Solidity based smart contracts.

agree, but there is an obvious hype on both platforms, and it is good to have clear picture where both platforms are at the moment actually, for Cardano, there is also Marlowe (primarily for DeFi) as programming language, and Cardano has two free courses on Udemy for both languages (Plutus and Marlowe), but Cardano is already here for a long time, and their progress is not fantastic (although could not say that they are not delivering on their promises) and number of users will be a question, with smart contract functionalities deployed disclaimer: I also have solid investment in Cardano

This post confirms the dominancy of the ethereum network in the dApps arena and simply nullifies the ethereum killer statement very often used by the competitors. I also like the fact that tron is quickly moving up in the list because it is relatively new project among all these and is making good progress.

and Cardano has two free courses on Udemy for both languages (Plutus and Marlowe) Thanks for this info, did not know about that. Just enrolled on both, hope they are good. Even if they aren't they are quite short and should at least be good enough for some basic stuff. Damn, it has already passed more then 3 years from my last course on Udemy and I was sure it was not more than a year. Getting old and times flies faster and faster

Thanks for this info, did not know about that
yeah, it is a good to form a developer base, they also released KEVM devnet last night, it is not much for the moment, but hopefully next year will be in line with their expectations Damn, it has already passed more then 3 years from my last course on Udemy and I was sure it was not more than a year. Getting old and times flies faster and faster yeah, I am not a programmer, but this field of cryptocurrencies is so amazing, that I have started to learn Solidity, and added Marlowe month ago, will see where this is going to turn out
