Aleph.im’s mission is to help decentralized apps and protocols strip off the centralized parts of their stack, achieving a fully decentralized architecture. It achieves this by providing decentralized databases (including file storage), computation and a decentralized identification (DID) framework. You can think of aleph.im as a decentralized AWS or firebase.

Aleph.im is already compatible with Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, BinanceChain and more. With this launch it will be able to accommodate larger DApps (i.e. NFT-related DApps needing a lot of storage space for their NFT Metadata).

Aleph.im did not do an ICO, nor any private sale round or such. You can see the project's track record, and future roadmap on the medium blog, twitter and website.
