my friend, if you bought something you should have a strong reason,
but, if you bought bitcoin at $23,5k thats not a big problem, if you believe if the price of bitcoin will growing more and touch about $50K or more in long term

I hope he has no urgent needs with the money, because if he does, he will go crazy watching the market especially it is now below 23k. But it is going back up again. I guess, he's praying hard that the btc price will go high than 23.5k again.  But if you are a long-time crypto user, you know for yourself that btc can go higher in the next coming years. totally agree with you,  i am thinking if i was big investors from finance institution. they will not buying bitcoin in high price, although its have high risk it also contain minimum profit potency if compared if we wait for retracement . many expert said bitcoin will touch higher price in next year, and buy at that level must totall hold and we must maintain our mental and psychology when look small or big correction.

There are still 2 weeks before the year ends so there are many possibilities for bitcoin to rally again. If that happens, I suggest to OP not to get greedy and take profit at that time. Correction can happen anytime because bitcoin's price rose very quickly. I hope OP learned a lesson from this experience, I think he was caught in FOMO, no one expected it to rise at that price hence he still bought.

This is common during hype, Many people are being FOMO(Fear of Missing out). During low price, The trend is always going down and the common mindset was the price will still go down that's only few smart trader enter position at that point. During uptrend is what many trader like to buy because there is clear direction for the price and they easily take profit for a short trade. No one knows if this price will be the next ATH soon but buying before the correction is a very bad decision.
