I bought BTC at 23.5K$

I hope you have sold it at $ 24k, because now the price of bitcoin has corrected to $ 22800,
either Bitcoin price will return to $ 24k or maybe it will fall even further before increasing.

We don't know what would happen, it could either fall or rise, but if you stick with your target, you might be able to see it when the time comes. IMO, it's not wise to buy when the price is pumping, it should be the other way around, and it's time to sell without hesitation.

I won't buy bitcoin at $23.5k, unless I am into day trading and I am good with that.

I think you should have a plan before entering the market or crypto currency.
Most of the newbie's are only jumping in with only a mindset that it would make them rich or give them profit but the question is how would they do it?
It is like holding your Fiat on your hand with thinking that it would just multiply it's own.
Did you bought it to hold it or to have a quick trade for it?

This will be seen from how much you intend to invest and believe the price will rise in time. If you hesitate to think about it then think about it first because this is very hard if you are not sure with all your heart.

If you really believe In Bitcoin and trust this ,There is no Price Barricade when to invest ,Look at those companies that Bought Bitcoin recently While the price is Bullying ,this one proof how Stablished people trust now and see the future of cryptocurrencies .

I can't believe how many pages this has been already, it is such a funny story how everyone has a hindsight story here. OP started his topic on 18th of December and we are already at above 7 pages today in less than 3 days later.

Normally when someone starts a topic saying "bitcoin will be 23.5k dollars" everyone ignores it, they say it will not happen or they say it will take some time, but when someone does something you do not agree with, you have something to say about it. Here we are above 23.5k already, and dude profited already, that was a good decision making according to the price right now. I would have to say that bitcoin will also keep going up if you ask me, you could buy from 24k and could still profit from it as well. I would like to also point out that altcoins still haven't had a huge bull run of their own, you could check that out as well.

No one knows when the bull run will be ended. May be it is only the beginning. I also expect massive bull run in this coming year. But time  will say. If anyone have enough money or can wait, price of btc will grow and there will be profit in long term

The only thing to think about when investing in bitcoin is timing. If you invest free funds and are willing to wait several years, then you almost certainly will not lose. It is much more difficult to calculate if you invest borrowed funds - the chance of losing here is much greater.

hold strong buddy that's the only way to survive the great bear market that will be upon us after the bull run although the bull run did not cut across the alts as it usually does, at this point it will be difficult to say the direction of the market, btc already touched 24k and correct back, if your intention is to hold long term then this little dip or big dip should not bother you so much.

but there is no need to worry that the possibility of going down and up will always be possible for bitcoin. Please note that in an hour bitcoin can move quickly to go down or up, so if there is a decline it can be quite surprising and if there is an increase it is likely to break through $ 25k.

This is not a problem, you didn't do anything wrong by buying at 23.5k, people who are still not buying bitcoin are doing the biggest mistakes of their lives, people who buy (no matter what price) have made decent returns no matter what. Of course you may have bought at a "late" stage compared to many other people, people who bought at 20k back in 2017 barely made a profit only after 3 years, those are bad looking deals to people from outside. However if you are a smart investor you could always make a huge profit later on, why did people who bought at 2017 for 20k price made a profit only recent?

 Because the price only went above 20k recently, but what about those who bought at 20k in 2017, and then at 17k then at 15k then at 10k then again at 6k and then again at under 5k? Those people bought at many different places and made a huge profit later on way quicker. So, keep buying at lower or higher levels and you will do great.

I think buying bitcoin at $23500 depends, for me I will prefer to trade bitcoin and using spot or future trade will be good but they are highly risky, especially future trading. But to hold is not bad either, institutions are investing while many other investors could also invest, but if institution whales can invest, it can lead to increase in market capitalization of bitcoin. The two are better but depending on how expert someone is to make maximum profit.

What price one bought will not matter at all. What will matter is whether you sold it before you made a fortune. EVERYONE is going to make a fortune as long as they HODL or combo (HODL + Trade).

Any weird regulation which comes along may dump Bitcoin on its a$$ (sub $10k) but it will pick up in the long run.

Exactly, although there are a lot of positive news for 2021, it might take some time to really realised a profit here because it seems he bought it on top. Nevertheless, the best thing to do is just HODL and hope that there could still be some positive news next year that will put the price of bitcoin in the range of $30k-$50k.
