A belated job well done to you then OP! I distinctly remember being on an online chat right about the time BTC broke the $19800 or thereabouts ATH (CoinDesk I believe pushed out the breaking news alert) and people were saying how they regretted not getting BTC right then and there instead of waiting for $15k dips that just never came.

So they missed out on 50% gains from that day because they wanted to "save" a few thousand dollars. At the point BTC does go to 6 figures, all the dip-buying won't make much of a difference now.

not everyone can make that decision. however buying at the new ATH price is a pretty tough thing to pick up. however, I think the OP has had a big advantage at this point. if he buys 1 bitcoin, the profit he gets right now is quite large, even I feel the price of bitcoin will exceed the price of $ 30k.

I am sure he is very lucky, buying Bitcoin at $ 23.5k was a good thing in the past year,

l think also that he is very lucky, that is why it doesn't matter how much money is BTC, every time is so great for buying BTC. It would be better to buy at 10k or smaller than 23.5k, however as l said it is still good. In my humble opinion BTC will be higher than 25k and maybe this year BTC can reach 30-40k. If l bought BTC at 23.5, l would hold it still till the end of this year maybe longer than l said.

At this current Btc price, does people who doubted $20,000 is an expensive buy still consider it really expensive?
This is exactly the same complain when Btc was still worth $1,000.
I'm not sure, but I think people would always complain like this as Btc keeps on rising and breaking new ATH.
There'll be time that $50,000 worth per Btc will be considered very cheap.

I didn't dare to buy new coins at $19 000+, but I'm okay. Everybody should know his place and capabilities, and it wouldn't be acceptable in my financial situation.

No one knows the limit where btc will go in this bull run. Where it will stop and start falling. It is always risky to invest in crypto, but each successful trade starts with uncertainty. I never think btc would touch 30k in recent year. I am happy even though I was wrong.

OP does not anymore reply here, I hope he was able to make a decision to purchase bitcoin during the time he create this thread. Happy to know what OP did, if he will sell at a current price, it's already a good profit, but if he will hold longer and wait, there's a risk that the price will dump and he will missed selling it, that happened in the past, sometimes greediness made us look away the opportunity in front of us.

Considering that the author of the topic entered bitcoin quite late, most likely he is a new person for the crypto. In this case, it is quite reasonable to fix most of the profit - after all, in any other area, such an income in such a short time is considered very large. I don’t think he’s ready to wait several years (if there is a major correction) to get even more profit.
