I guess you're right, it has a different concept with specific categories on each game had in PvP. Just like poker, we can conduct PVP in poker games and once players are settled they can place a bet on each other.

There are too many online games to be considered as good in PvP gambling, but the problem is if don't have enough players.

Although, the OP detail was about online games but pvp games are not only good in an online game cause it can be good in the physical game either but what's important is the fairness of the game result.

I don't see much difference between e-sport and real physical sport in terms of duration. I think you can easily find many pairs where the length of the online game is exactly the same as the duration of the offline game. Everywhere there are champions like golf or classical chess.

Poker definitely is a good game for PvP but there are already so many casinos involved in online gambling. As a new player it must very hard to establish yourself in the poker world as a good casino, because all the big players offer so many goodies and have a huge player base. That's why it might be better for new casinos to offer different types of games. I would assume that gamblers want to play different games from time to time.

It is one problem but there's a solution on it by talking personally to the opponent and setting a time and date for that particular match. There are a lot of games already that's integrated with gambling including the skins, items, avatars and other gaming rewards that you can purchase in game or through p2p marketplace for that game.
And this pvp betting is like p2p match but only has to set dates.

Right now we're just in the nascent stages of the big esports tournaments. It seems to me that every year this industry will grow more and more. Even now in Asia, popular Dota players can be as popular as football players. And you are right there are skins and items and many people buy them.

I have the tendency to think in this way as well, some people think this is not possible because they see sports and esports as two completely different activities but in fact are very similar, people in the past used to play soccer, baseball, basketball and other games when they were children and they enjoy watching adults play the game to the best of their abilities, now kids enjoy playing video games, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand that those kids will grow up and will want to see other people playing those games the same way we watch sports now.

I think the game of Jai Alai needs to be revived as for one it is a physical sport also a good gambling setup. This game was the rave before in the 70s and 80s until it was banned in our country. You can use crytocurrencies or fiat so that players will be able to enjoy more. I am sure many gamblers and gambling enthusiasts knows about this game. Computers are way better than the average player so there will be a lot of cheating involved unless you could find a way to somehow detect that, to give you an idea of how difficult this is chess tournaments that require the physical presence of the players have problems ensuring there is no cheating involved, there have been many cases like people going many times to the bathroom and check their phones for moves, to people being signal the right moves by another person using a computer, so I do not think casinos can guarantee that players will not cheat and that is why chess is not offered as a gambling game.

Hehe, that is true. I feel that games like chess though should be played with enough time because it kills the whole purpose of the chess game if we are speeding through our moves without actually thinking as much as we should.

Multipayer chess games are there but none of them are paid, at least none that I am aware of. One reason is because of the high possibility of cheating going on and bots playing instead of humans. Another reason is that no matter how much we hype chess game, it remains boring and absolutely worthless for the viewers.

I am someone who watches snooker and I feel like chess is almost the same. At least in snooker, there are some good shots and viewers can cheer for them, otherwise just sit idle and watch them play. I rather prefer games where we can cheer and get involved like multiplayer games like DOTA2.

It is difficult to tap into this industry, but i would not say that you should be calling all projects dead just yet. An ICO that I managed in my local board (Asuracoin) seems to be pretty much dead and some other like "flipcoin" do not seem to go any further. However, the industry is so big and there is so much growth that there will certainly be more projects in the comming years.
