This would have been a very good piece of advice 3-4  days ago after which the price rose by over 400%,  but right now if it were me, I wouldn't bother buying as the price has started to correct. It would be a suicidal move.

For complete noobs then better to have some time on studying even with the basic information and things about crypto. This market had been flooded out by lots of projects in the market
neither those existing ones and the upcoming ones which you dont know on whats the actual use case.

When it comes to investment decisions then this would be very confusing thing to be talked on but if you do want on the safer side (not totally) then stick with bitcoin
or with some top altcoins in the market.

It's the worst thing to take the graph as a project to invest right now. It was getting hyped and then it has started to be dumped again. The hype will not be so long as people must be careful with it.
When people are missing to join in the pump and he should not do that consider about the fact if pnd happened on the graph.

I do believe there are so many people are trapped at the peak price of the pump that happened with the graph.

OP did you edit your original post? I can see @rat03gopoh's post and reading it seems to indicate that you were talking some specific project.

So seeing it gone now, I would suggest you to follow @rat03gopoh's advice for now. In general, all DeFi projects that came in all of a sudden are going to be failures, dont let anyone tell you otherwise, because I have seen the same thing happen with ICOs and then STOs, IEOs and so on. Lending pools and stablecoins are never going to be a passive earning method - get that in your head too.

Additionally several DeFi projects are plain copy pasted project details only, no project in real = scam.
As for investing, Bitcoin is the only thing you need.

Now? More like from the start when altcoins came in existence there has never been a project that was completely new. Now I dont expect such a thing to happen out of the blue because almost every market out there is saturated by a mainstream project. However there are competitors appearing in every sector too which means there is room for development and growth. This is definitely not the easiest spaces to conquer but altcoin project owners thought of doing it so DeFi also followed suit.

Like I have said in other threads, there will be no success in a new project unless they can build and inherent demand for the coin. Bitcoin is a unique currency now and reaching it is out of question. Rest all end up as pump and dump or plain scams. Same happening with DeFi too.

Yeah i have been following the graph too and the project seem worthy of attention and good thing is now that btc is taking most lts down the price of the graph is has dip a lot for a good buy in, i was also watching Injective protocol too, that beast has perform tremendously this few days, am just waiting for inj to dip a bit more for a good entrance.

Choosing a good project these days is quite difficult, the project just give you a profit for short term investment and if late to buy the coin you'll just lose your money. A few months a god I tried to choose DeFi project, I interested to the project because its feature can be competed to YFI because there is some features that similarities with it. Indeed, the project succesfully to be launched and the price touch $500 far from I bought before launched.

My fault I was greedy at that time and I want the token up more than that whereas I've got a lot of profit if I sold but was wrong because the price fall to $13 now, it is really crazy and make me angry. I regretted it until now when I should get a lot profit at this bull run but I just got a huge lose. I agree with some users above me who suggest to choose a coin that has been traded in a good exchange like binance or you can choose bitcoin for the main place to store your money.

Sad to hear that. I hope you learnt from this and took it as a lesson more than a point of regret. It is the basic idea to sell at the profit, no matter how good the project, you are in the market to make a profit. So sell at the rise and then you can buy back at a drop - point is you extracted some profit off the asset while cycling it.

Good exchange does not equal to a useful project. Many shitcoins are listed on top exchanges and many worthy coins are never listed on the best exchanges. It is a matter of your own perspective here. So dont use this as a yardstick of how profitable the project will be rather it is a measure of how liquid that coin might be.

I disagree with that, trading has nothing to do with investing, you can say he should have basic knowledge to buy and know when to sell but not necessary need to have trading knowledge, that's a wrong information you are given out, when i first invest in crypto, i don't know how to trade, even now i don't do trading because i found it to be time consuming and exhausting, i try to stick to what i know, any one can invest and buy a good coin to hold without doing trading.
