Comparatively speaking football is not nearly as culturally big as it is in South America but come on! This is the EU!! It is easy to penetrate the Aisan or South american or African markets with any crypto stuff but EU has been the hardest to get into. Maybe with en exception to Greece, the UK and Malta. Any crypto project that can market to these crowds is like a godsend for crypto adoption. Think about it!

Of course Token (JUV) and Token (PSG) are not tokens that we should not ignore. We've seen how they contributed today. and indicates that the hype will have considerable popularity. by the way I think even bigger than PSG or JUV is the name Barcelona! Maybe you should have started with that! Every kid on the planet knows about this club, whether it be through video games or the actual football games itself. The mere fact that they're tying with this Chiliz platform is a testament to the immense amount of money they're pouring into it. Surely it would be a good idea to buy these coins .. however timing is important. You'd want to get in on early before they start picking up value.

Exactly, okay I get the point @poorminer made about Barcelona maybe I should have led with that. I know that the sound of fan tokens are awesome but I want to know what you guys think is the right time to invest?

I doubt the use case, this is a token for their fans.
I think it will initially be used for all corporate financial sector clubs including sponsorship.

What I know so far (cmiiw) is that the JUV isn't officially issued by JuventusFC, but by the Socios company. Maybe Socios is just a partner of some football clubs.

Those clubs may have some fans but all of them will not buy those coins to support those coins. I think most short term profit seekers and short term investors will buy those to gain some quick profit. I do not know what will be the use case of those tokens but I will try to do some research to know more about those tokens from Binance.

I just read up about them and seems like Chiliz the main company behind bring all these 'fan' tokens aren't just doing JUV or PSG but also seem to have other clubs onboard with their own coins like $ATM for Atletico de Madrid $CAI for Club Atlético Independiente $YBO for  BSC Young Boysand even $NAVI for Navi!

I think these coins will be seeing a lot of adoption from the regular fans because it's not just two clubs anymore, and I think they can expand beyond football -since they got NAVI onboard.

This is official buddy. Some are even saying they saw it being advertised on their TVs in banners during the matches in these lockdown times. Football clubs do not have the technical clout and manpower to pull off a proper software launch (which cryptocurrency is in a sense) so they must have partners and these Socios and Chiliz are just that, partner companies. If this was not officially done, no way they could have launched them.

Do you recognize a new technical term for crypto? FTO = Fan Token Offering. After ICO, IEO, now it is FTO. I don't know which blockchain those tokens are operating on and how they will be give away to their fans initially?

What can the world do other than to get involved in any possible. Covid-19 disrupted a lot of things, economies etc but yet the crypto space stood tall with Bitcoin being on the forefront and with it hitting a new price this year proves it worth and value to a lot of doubtful people, hence the reason more and more attention are being drawn to it. It is really nice to have these football clubs launch their tokens as it shows that mass adoption is closer than we think, however I also believe this is just the beginning and with more growth, top companies, platforms and organizations will start looking for a way to tap into the potential and benefits Bitcoin offers. Lastly, buying depends on you, but if it were me, I would buy with a certain amount of funds just to see how it goes.

These fan tokens are being promoted in many leagues. In my country, Başakşehir FK, Trabzonspor and Galatasaray have made various agreements
