if I use Bitcoin. it is very easy to explain crypto using Bitcoin, because bitcoin is the first crypto coin and is very profitable now. Usually I explain about the advantages and functions of blockchain. the way bitcoin is not bound by regulations, and of course how to get money from bitcoin. explaining crypto trading is not that difficult, when compared to forex or stocks. so it looks easy even if I'm not an expert. if my friend is interested in bitcoin and crypto, then I explain everything about easy crypto from Dapps, privacy coins, Defi and crypto trading in more detail.

I have never considered this before! I have been involved with crypto world for years now and I have never really considered it something very serious and something that is more politically charged as well, can't believe that I never considered something like this before.

I personally talked to my friends about bitcoin and ethereum, most recently about defi, all to convince them to get involved, even if they do not spend a lot of money, at least try to earn some by doing some work if they can (most of them can freelance). However it is very hard to get them involved the hardest part is to get them start, after that things are not that bad because they get involved and actually find it fun and profitable but that first part is always the hardest part. Using doge to make it more fun and just a joking matter could make them more interested.

It is a good step to start introducing crypto to your friends. Rather than giving them a huge expectation of earnings from crypto, as they get involved with dogecoin they will slowly learn bout other crypto and who knows dig deeper, and learn more about crypto. I never encourage my friends to learn about crypto just because of it's potential for earning, but for its convenience and use case.

That's great! It would help the community of DOGECOIN and the DOGECOIN itself because of the additional people who uses it besides bitcoin. Its a good start for beginners who want to learn something in the world of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin for others when heard, may become a big word for them because a lot of people is gaining profit from it. They would think that they will handle a big responsibility when holding a bitcoin but instead introducing first dogecoin would make them feel that the responsibility is lighter than bitcoin.

It's a very good step indeed. That is what Elon Musk trying to do nowadays. He is trying to introduce altcoins with DOGE. I am suspicious about that maybe he was creator of DOGE also. But anyway even some people are angry at him at least he is promoting altcoins in a viral way.

Actually DOGE is much more better than some other altcoins. Even some people say its just a crypto MEME.

Nevertheless, I also start my crypto joining with dogecoin, it was among the reputable crypto then, and it not among the powerful ones now.

But why change something that is clearly not broken? Dogecoin is truly one of the more decentralized altcoins where it is just moving and flowing as it has always been. Has a nice status as a memecoin unchallenged. And still can make waves. Seems like the perfect ALTERNATIVE coin to me:)

Clearly not broken? I dont disagree with Dogecoin to be one of the genuinely decentralized altcoin but it concept was the reason most cryptocurrency investors dont consider it to be worth invest in cause crypto is a serious investment setting not just a meme which won't interest whales investors.

Introducing altcoins like Dogecoin to your friends isn't a wrong idea as long as you're able to explain everything well including its risks and benefits. You also have to help them understand the value and edge of topcoins like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It's fine to teach your friends coins that you're comfortable with because you'll be able to relate and share your experiences as good proof of investing with it.

That's really great that you started introducing Dogecoin first of all it's a combination of meme and cryptocurrency also I think the Doge coin was created for educational purposes and I think that's good move to start with Dogecoin.

Dogecoin is fairy easy way of making people understand how crypto works. It's cheap, fast and works on whole numbers.
But when people are interested in crypto, they are looking for a few different things and one of the most prominent is investment and eventual profitable return of it. For it, Bitcoin and newer potential alts would be an better option. If they are into blockchain tech and development, side chain solutions like Ethereum would have better significance.

I think that is a good start to introduce people to using dogecoin. They can buy that coin at a low price while also holding the coin for some time. I think that is a good choice for dogecoin to buy and hold because dogecoin is one of the hidden gems that can increase someday. Coins that are less costly are good for introductions, you can conveniently send to your friends for them to give a try, Dogecoin, Litecoin, XRP, TRON are still very much affordable so you can do some give out to make them develop some interest or not

Your bitcoin wallet has the option to allow you to see your holdings in mBTC or in any other denomination that you want and taking into account that a mBTC right now is the equivalent of roughly 27 dollars that is low enough for people to begin to think in full units so the advantage that you claim that dogecoin has is purely cosmetic in my opinion and without a doubt bitcoin is the best investment among the two so if possible I think that at first we should introduce whoever we want to come to this market to bitcoin and nothing more.

To be honest, I think Dogecoin is very good when used in daily activities. Besides the very affordable price, Dogecoin also has fast transaction speeds. If mass adoption of bitcoin/crypto occurs, I believe Dogecoin will be the best alternative
