Hi, I'm a software engineer from the USA. And I've been developing for about 7 years (2.5 "professionally") and I've been into the whole crypto/blockchain space for about 6-7 years now.

Anyway, I'm looking for some like-minded people(developers and designers) who would be interested in building our own DApp or even potentially our own chain. Mostly looking for people who would be interested in doing this for the fun and experience of it. But, if we end up making some money then that's a good plus too.

I do have some ideas (a good one for a token and app) and it's something I've always wanted to take a shot at. I just lack the connections to other developers and designers. 😝

I'm also interested in creating a network from scratch. I doubt it would really go anywhere, but it'd be worth it just for the fun and learning experience. I have developed a VERY basic blockchain written in the Crystal language.

So, if this is something you'd possibly be interested in, please shoot me a message and we can exchange some contact details and talk shop!

Hope to hear from some of you!

Ideas rarely go anywhere on their own. Do you have anyone backing your ideas with money?

Well, no not exactly. But it's not impossible either. That's why I'm looking for people who may be interested in doing it for the fun and experience of it if we end up not making any money which is noted in the OP.

However, one of my ideas I'm nearly certain could get some funding if I were to put out a request for it. It's an idea for an app/token to be built in the Hive ecosystem. I'm about 90% sure the community would fund it if the proposal were set up.

But, I'd like to have a small team and a small proof of concept or at the very least a well thought out "white paper" for it before I put out the proposal.

I was thinking about doing that for the initial development. Then after launch using team allocated tokens for further funding.
