Nobody here is asking:

1)  Who is CanarlslanEren?   Is he "someone" who should know inside things about Gox, or just some random dude?

He's the guy that predicted gox found the original 200k coins

2)  The PatronaPartners tweet references a tweet from March 4th where the dude makes the same claim.   Doesn't exactly solidify the authenticity for me.

Then again, I'm easily confused.

-B-

That's the tweet referencing the answer to your first question

Is this for real?  I'll have to wait for Blockchain.info announcement first.

This is scaring me....in a good way:

Worst case it's a bad leak.

Best case.....$1200?   Shocked

I'm thinking the opposite.  If you were a victim of the Goxxing, would you hang on to your returned coins?  I'd think most people would dump them for fiat as quickly as possible.

Pull them off the Mt Gox exchange? Oh hell yes they will. But exchange to fiat? I think not as much as you might expect.

That sounds like crazy talk. Wouldn't a rational person instead say Whew! I escaped a narrow one. Glad that lesson didn't cost me all my bitcoins. I'll never leave my coins in the hands of a third party again.

ETA: embarrassed disclosure: I lost $16.00 USD and change in the Gox implosion. Though perhaps I'll get it back - yippee!

(yes, that's sixteen paltry dollars)

Damn yeah... if this is true, i will put my 16 goxcoin in cold wallet and wait another year to become 10k!!! with all the news coming to Bitcoin out of this, its not wise to sell them for cheap (maybe we see a drop of 10-20% at first but it will come back soon)

I hope the bitcoin community that was goxed gets some/all their coins back.
Everyone should have learned a very valuable lesson from this whole mess- Hold on to your coins...no need to leave them on exchanges.

Give me a break.  Everyone keeps preaching that shit, but not everyone just hordes coins on their home computers.  Some of us actually trade/sell/arbitrage.  And for that, you need fiat and btc on the exchanges.
