Hundreds of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members are embedded within the Chinese divisions of major U.S. corporations, from IBM to PepsiCo to 3M, a leaked CCP-member database revealed.

The existence of Party units within foreign companies in China is hardly surprising, given that the regime mandates any organization with at least three CCP members to form a Party branch. But the 1.95 million CCP member list, which includes names, levels of education, ethnicity, and the Party branches they belong to, was to date the biggest revelation on the scale of the CCP’s influence on international companies.

Most of the members in the database are from the country’s southeastern coastal metropolis of Shanghai.

New York-headquartered tech firm IBM has at least two dozen Party units with 808 members in China.

3M, a manufacturer of consumer and health care goods, including N95 respirators and other medical products critical to preventing COVID-19 spread, employs at least 230 CCP members within five Party units.

PepsiCo, the multinational snack and beverage company, has 45 employees listed under the company’s Party branch committee.

Dow Chemical Company, one of the world’s three largest chemical producers, lists 337 CCP members in four Party committees.

Other notable U.S. firms on the list include Westin Hotel & Resorts owned by Marriott International (23 members); analytics firm Nielsen Holdings (94); leading food company Mars Food (14); and insurance provider MetLife (31).

The U.S. companies and Party branches mentioned are by no means exhaustive. As of 2016, around 75,000 foreign businesses—accounting for over 70 percent of the roughly 106,000 foreign firms in China—have established Party units, according to state-run media People’s Daily.

Now we see that there are many Communist Chinese who like capitalism, but are unwilling to go all the way and convert from Comminism into capitalism. Boeing, Qualcomm and Pfizer are just three US companies that have employed dozens of CCP members in their Chinese facilities, the database reveals.

As well, three female employees of the US consulate in Shanghai have been identified in the list of 1.95 million party members that was leaked to an international group of legislators, the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China, which includes Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Bob Menendez (D-NJ).

All CCP members swear an oath to "fight for communism throughout my life, be ready at all times to sacrifice my all for the party and the people, and never betray the party [and] guard party secrets, be loyal to the party."

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), a member of the Homeland Security Committee, said yesterday: "CCP agents have no place in US government facilities, and this report should serve as a much-needed wake-up call to Washington, DC, and corporate executives, who continue to welcome the Chinese government with open arms.

that means basically that you want them to be forced to tell everyone their business secret, thats not very friendly for enterpreneurs and corporations that spend a ton of money into research, its like the asians that coppied all kinds of western tech and defined that as their own.

There might be many thoughts on this idea. Consider:

1. Don't tell people the ingredients, but have a big sign on the product that says: "Ingredients intentionally not listed and/or not necessarily government approved. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!"

2. If ingredients are required to be listed for the public, form a Private Membership Association where the products can be sold to members without government approval or disapproval. This means that, if government says that the products are a health hazard, make them prove it, rather than you having to prove that your products are not. Again, wisely keep the statement on all products that aren't government approved, "Not government approved. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!" A PMA is private, virtually outside of government regulation.

3. Note that there are all kinds of things government approves or disapproves incorrectly. Consider hydroxychloroquine. It's been around for 65 years. It's so safe that the medical has said to prescribe it for infants and pregnant women for decades. But as soon as somebody wants to use it for Covid, government attempts to take it off the market.

The point is freedom in labeling, without harming anyone. Consider aspartame. Some people have proven that it is a deadly poison. Others have said it is not dangerous at all, even though it is a poison. Why is it even on the market?, to say nothing about, why is it approved for use as a food ingredient?

There are all kinds of questions about labeling products, both food products, and others.
