     A new strain of corona virus is 'out of control' in the United Kingdom (UK),
It's Health Secratary (Matt Hancock) has warned suggesting that parts of England will be stuck in the new higher tier of Covid19 restrictions until a vaccine is rolled out.

   UK announced last week that a new strain of Covid19 identified thers can spread more quickly and urgent work is underway to confirm that it does not cause a higher mortality rate.

   The new strain of corona virus identified in the UK is reportedly up to 70% more infectious.

England's chief medical officer, Chris Whitty, said the UK has alerted the World Health Organization (WHO) that the new Covid19 variant appears to be accelerating the spread of Covid19.

Yes, along with this new strain of COVID, UK has moved to another lockdown phase and people have started stocking up essential things in big numbers.

Even our country has banned flights from UK along with many other countries. So the situation is not rrally looking great at this moment. There have been reported cases from Italy and Spain to.

But I believe UK and the world is now more prepared to embrace the impacts of lockdown. UK is anyway a very wealthy country because they have ruled our country for more than 200 years and looted all the wealth we used to own, so they wouldn't be affected financially! Some minor impact will obviously be there but nothing major to talk about.

There is really nothing to worry about just yet. VUI means variant under investigation, and right now it is named VOC, so it changed name but news spread so fast that people haven't even heard the name change neither. New name means variant of concern, which means it is getting to a dangerous levels.

However this is still the "same" virus as covid-19, sure it is a mutation of it but it is not like a totally different and brand new virus neither, it is still the same virus but a bit different, that's it. The problem we had with this was simple, we weren't ready and we were treating it like it was covid-19 which caused a lot of people to not get better so easily, and spread it around thinking they didn't had covid-19 which they didn't but they had this.

Now that we know this, it won't be a big problem. Plus we also realize that as long as vaccination can help us get better, it should help us with this one as well, that is at least what we are guessing, needs a lot more testing obviously.

I don't disagree that is likelihood of having new string of this Virus, but these people are agent of doom or he is being paid by the all these pharmaceutical companies to help spread the FUD. I personally would not take the Vaccines and I know many people that said so, they need to control people's mind for the masses to buy into what they are selling

We did not see a hybrid mutation that makes it fundamentally altered and lost its current characteristics.
The problem for governments will be access to herd immunity and vaccinating the elderly.

If we succeed in reaching levels of 70% or higher, we will find an ideal response, and we may return to the start of the normal situation in the coming month of April or May.

I think everybody is overreacting to the new strain of coronavirus. They are all saying that it was first detected in September in many EU countries and now - baaammm total UK blockade. Most probably the EU is showing muscles before the final Brexit Trading Deal talks.

UK doesn't really need to do anything extra as of right now, they just need to make sure they do the same thing they should be doing towards covid-19 as well so they should be fine.

However it is obvious that this is going to create a lot of trouble and scare in the markets and in people, when people are scared and when they think it is not ending and it is going to be like this for another year or two, they are going to end up considering selling everything they have to make sure they have enough cash to buy products and store them and shut themselves in. Obviously that is not going to happen that quickly, we need a bit more officials come out and talk about it, but as long as even one of them says "this makes things postpone a lot further, we won't be leaving houses and contacting people for a while more" that will make the markets crash very quickly.

The first coronavirus has already done massive damage in oo n a world scale, even if we manage to survive the first, a second time around would definitely hit our core economy. Unless there would be a suitable vaccine for all then the worst case might happen, that is the survival of the fittest, were people will left being human and save their selves even it means hurting someone.

Vaccines are rolled out for some time now in UK. They were one of first after China and Russia. I guess exactly this new UK virus mutation was the reason why they were so fast with allowing vaccine to be used. Now sure how many people was vaccinated so far.
