If your purchased membership has more permissions than your natural membergroup, then you should wear it in order to receive all of its benefits. If your purchased membership has fewer permissions than your natural membergroup, then wearing it is optional; wearing it will never reduce your permissions.

betplacer20, all you have to do is activate your paid membership by selecting this option on the page where you received the purchase instructions. Copper member will never deprive you of any privileges, but at this point it will give you some advantages that you would not have until you reach Member rank.
