Coinbase is going to delisting xrp?

XRP is one of the largest coinmarketcap coins and delisting from a platform like coinbase will impact the overall market. After SEC news the whole market became red along with XRP and this could go further down if coinbase delisted XRP. But I think this just a rumor because so many companies are involved with XRP and they won't let XRP down.

Rumors itself already bring a huge impacts to the entire market, we are seeing a huge dumped following this another bad news to this

project, if coinbase consider this move then expect more CEX to follow. it will create more dumped as investors and traders will jumped

before the whole system collapse.

why will they panic when its not finalize . this is same as fud because fudsters want to bring down xrp and nervous xrp hodlers got carried away .

 if xrp gets de listed why will it impact other markets and why will other exchange follow ? some exchange can delist a coin but other exchange can retain the coin and continue its operations .

i dont see that as a huge problem . people are becoming paranoid , thats no good . they should stop having that feeling .

If coinbase really delists XRP from their platform, other exchanges will probably also delist it. And this is just a matter of time when the exchanges will delist XRP.
Really too late to sell my XRP and still in my wallet LOL

Clearly, it will make XRP price dump a lot. As we have seen now, its price just continues to down and down even has passed the monthly candle which is in the last month the candle has formed a morobozu bullish and has indicated that the price can increase sharply. But a bad new come and seem like the problem can't be solved quickly, it will take a lot of time to face multiple trials.

To be honest, this is not good for XRP in any way, it can be considered as fud until it happens though, but as it stands, the price of XRP will be dealt with and it will dump even more with no one knowing what will become of it at the long run. The simple truth is that, fud or bad news whichever it is, have a very bad way of dealing with coin's price and now with XRP being one of the top altcoin, will likely be lossing a whole lot from its price, to investors and to users who believes in it.
Nevertheless, at this juncture, if I am a holder, I should be dumping by now because the price will only get worse if no solution is found sooner than later; then at the long run those who believes in it, can still buy back but for now, it is better to cut losses and be on the safer side.

It would not be a surprise for most of us here if coinbase goes on to delist xrp as many other exchanges are doing the same and even I read that many funds are also quitting xrp by selling their portfolios, so basically majority of the market seems to be losing the trust in xrp.

I guess this is mostly what will happen, platforms are starting to consider delist XRP to avoid any legal obligations if ever Ripple losses the lawsuit filed by SEC against them. I am wondering where will XRP go or what will happen to it knowing that it was sitting 3rd on the market cap. It involves a lot of money, and honestly XRP is one of my best choices when I am moving funds since it is really cheap and fast to use.

Ouch! So I guess the price is going to start tanking even more. That sucks for those who have been holding XRP. But, yeah they did know about the risks associated with centralized coins like XRP.

I'm really concerned about this ripple case. Not because i care about ripple (never ever had even a 1$ invested, maybe daytraded it once or twice) but isn't it the first attack, which will then expand on all tokens behind which companies are standing and which have acquired capital in the form of ICO (f.e BNB, KCS, HB) or even all ICOs (including etherum)?

I know that there is no way to sue majority of ICO projects but it is possible to force exchanges registered in US to delist them. Can you imagine coinbase, bittrex without 99% of coins?

True, they can't sue majority of the coins or ICO projects and taking down 99% of coins is next to impossible. Don't want to offend anyone, but most of those altcoins don't even deserve to be listed. They have no real use cases. Would be better without those coins.
Even if they get delisted by exchanges registered in US, traders will move to other exchange which supports them.

Delisting XRP from coinbase can rip off the future of it for sure because many exchanges may follow it as well so it will take big effect on its prices immediately and since XRP isn't doing that much great in this bull run so it may end up the growth as well in long term.

No I don't think big investors will easily lose their faith in XRP they will hold it even xrp got this bad news they can sell it but not in this price maybe they sold it already before the price decline or before sec officially announced it.

Maybe you do not know what is happening to ripple now, big investors are already selling ripple, that is what plunges ripple price to a very low price. Not only investors that are selling ripple but some exchanges have delisted it already. It is very possible for more exchanges to still delist ripple because the coin and ripple company has no trust again. I for one will not recommend ripple because if we can check it very well, even ripple blockchain is not decentralized, nothing is decentralized about ripple at all. If exchanges like coinbase delist it, it will it be a surprise.

A chain reaction Ensued after ripple lost more than half of its value. And the price doesn't stop falling. Crosstower, Beaxy, OSL also abandoned XRP. crosstower was the first to announce the removal of the Ripple token from its platform. Osl has only suspended trading so far.

Delisting XRP from coinbase can rip off the future of it for sure because many exchanges may follow it as well so it will take big effect on its prices immediately and since XRP isn't doing that much great in this bull run so it may end up the growth as well in long term.

It will work in US base exchange not other major exchange   which is not located in US I don't see any reason for them to delist it if they are not from there.ripple even say that they only have 5% of XRP investors from US so I don't find a reason why it's dumped so hard  other than investors also looking for good entry  And it happen last day .

This will have two results;

yes, of course if that really happened then the XRP holders would be destroyed. after hearing a lot of news about XRP's problems with the SEC. But let's see how the CEO of XRP responds to this case, and it's a shame XRP has reached the top 3 list in the CMC market and is now in big trouble.

The XRP team should really have done something before this big blunder.
Exchanges will follow thru if top exchanges will start delisting XRP.

I am also using XRP for transfer purposes because they are one of those that has low tx fee.

Actually I'm not a fan of altcoin. Since holding Bitcoin is profitable, what is the rationale behind investing in altcoin!
For those who are caught investing in XRP today, it is a lesson for them to hold bitcoin without believing in altcoin.
I'm sorry for your losses, Only one thing I can say in support of you is that this SEC is against Ripple not for XRP, So, I don't think Coinbase will make such a decision.

I am pretty sure that it all depends on the decision. If XRP is found guilty, just like bitmex was found guilty, that would mean that coinbase has to delist it, there is no other way and any other American exchange will have to delist it as well.

USA has been going a bit tough of crypto, they made it legal and supported and all that but they are also making it as much paperwork as possible, now they are saying they want to know the owners of wallets as well, you heard of that right? And don't get me wrong, if Ripple just wanted to have XRP as their coin on their wallet and nothing more, that would mean nothing would have happened to them, but since they are also a business that tries to make endless amount of profit from XRP and use that as bait, they are constantly getting action for their business which SEC of course can't allow, hence when they ban it, all American companies will have to stop using it.

This bad news has knocked XRP back down, which a few hours ago XRP started to rise. It really is really messy and a lot of altcoins seem to be impacted too. I hope the two sides between XRP and the SEC find a middle ground and that not many people will be harmed going forward.

Small exchange have done it first. And if it's coming from Coinbase, they're the biggest in the US then other exchanges that are operating inside US might follow this decision. Bitstamp has done their part but for the US residents only and it would gotten worst if they will start to take it as a whole thing in their platform. So this is very possible decision for Coinbase for the next coming days or weeks. When this is decided, there will be a massive dump that will for sure to happen and will make every XRP holder in panic.

As long as the delisting of XRP is not connected to exchanges that do not have American jurisdiction, the coin will be relatively safe. By banning American citizens from working with XRP, Bitstamp is seeking to avoid a potential conflict with the SEC. I expect that other exchanges will do the same.
