New users get an impression that it is mandatory to go for a hardware wallet, if you want to store your coins securely. I have stored my coins in an online wallet for the last 7 years and I have never faced any issue. It is much more anonymous, easy and risk-free, compared to using a hardware wallet to store your coin holdings.
