It will be foolish to expect that altcoins will move upward, without any improvement in the overall acceptability and adoption. Bitcoin recently received a big boost in mainstream adoption, as PayPal and Square have integrated it to their platforms. And that is the reason why the Bitcoin exchange rates have increased during the last few months. But no such good news have come out from the altcoin sector.

I think the idea what keeps many people driving into alt coins right now is some sort of overall market improvement. While institutions that are buying bitcoins right now are not very likely to switch into alt coins, we could still see some demand for our coins. In my opinion there must be people who want to buy bitcoins but think they are too expensive. So going for alt coins could be a good alternative.

I only saw ETH and BNB altcoins that have increased, other big altcoins are still bearish, buying altcoins now I think is the right time because it is experiencing bearish, chances are altcoin bull run after bitcoin has reached its limit

but not all altcoins. Right now, Ethereum is my concern. Even though I don't currently own Ethereum because it is selling so fast, it's possible that Ethereum might actually hit $ 800. maybe the price of other altcoins will also go up, but I don't want to take the risk of choosing a coin without doing some research first.

If bitcoin reaches 70% dominance altcoins will be bleeding badly, for me that's the right time to pick an altcoin with potential and invest in it since the price of it will be very low by then, it's definitely a good time to invest in altcoins, but we can't expect them to rise  or pump massively like they did back then in 2017, because the present bull run is only focused on bitcoin alone altcoins are not pumping, and I do expect the bull run to continue from the first Q1 of 2021.

I really really do not think there will be another alt season. Bitcoin already breached 40% of its old 2017 ATH with a high so far of 28000++ and today for the first time since 3 years ETH is above $700,,, only 50% of its old ATH.

Good news for ETH for sure but this is not a good sign that old prices will return.

I think 2021 willbe great for alts and I hope btc will also peak early this time around causing explosive pumps in alts so perhaps it is good time to accumulate good alts that have not moved much yet like trx, neo, ada etc.

Why do most suggest to buy something from top5/top10/top20 and etc. There plenty of other altcoins. How this top is created? Simply by trading volume. Any altcoin can decrease in price multiple times and still has a huge total trading volume. Such investment will be an ansurd. So why do people suggest to invest in some top? Is it an insurance from losing? No. Are these altcoins safe? No. Is there a 100% variability to get profit? No.

As of now, BTC dominance is a bit too high for altcoins to take off but a correction is possible in the near future.

Still, get ready to buy alts, the bull will probably start after BTC falls and crabs a little while its dominance goes down between to 40-55% (maybe even lower).

It will be good to take advantage of the situation where Altcoins are on their low price to take opportunity of investing into them before they have come into a maximum full recovery where their price rises so you can obtain a handful of profit. But even if such thing is the case, you still should be mindful to get picky on choosing the right Altcoins that have the true potential of having a recovery and not the other way around which is it will continue to get into dump that instead of gaining is you are losing. We still cannot determine when the Alt season will come but it will be good to invest on Altcoins at time of its dump but you should assure that those you will invest are worthy and possible to have a recovery.

No, the dip will take more after many will going to sell their bitcoins or after ATH will be recorded. Bitcoin is like a bubble that will going to pop out anytime soon especially that it already recorded to 28K$. I guess that was already the BTC ATH and after the year end everything will goes down that include the  altcoins. So, better keep your money first and wait for more altcoins dip and thats the best time to buy altcoins.
