A kind of comics that referring into Bitcoin? Well, for me this is a kind of boring to me.
Even I read the PDF version, honestly I don't get the exact catch of it. By the way, could you tell us here in the
forum what could possibly reason for us to get the interest of the members here in this forum.

You don't actually need to be impressed with someone's work. If you don't then you don't have to ask him that he/she should convinced you with his work. Appreciate it that he had converted it into pdf file because it takes a lot of time and effort to convert a physical file into a soft copy.

There are people who are interested reading such and there are those that are not interested.

@dimzayan, Merry Christmas too and happy holidays.

@dimzayan
I never thought I'll be enjoying comics but that changed halfway through reading yours and I'm impressed with both the content and digitally hand-drawn images [keep them coming] Smiley
- Merry Christmas as well Smiley

This is a really cool concept! Did you use Adobe Photoshop and a pentab for these excellent illustrations? Or you've made them traditionally? Also, how can you make some profit out of doing this hobby aside from making a collectible auction (thank you for the idea).

I am also doing digital drawings and I am also planning to create bitcoin inspired artwork print them lenticularly.

I enjoyed reading the comics, they are cute, but why don't they contain a lot of graphics related to Bitcoin or prices.
Perhaps the stories are related to some characters like bears, but there is no direct reference to Bitcoin.

Keep up the good work and hope that the emission method will improve, such as turning the pages of the book or adding some animated effects.

Some people sell their artworks yet most of those need to create a fanbase first or a good story to tell, a good lore to be exact. Take Rossdraws as an example, where he build his image and reputation first whilst focusing in his art style and sharing it on YT, then create merch and books that is all made by himself. There are also digital artist that prints in lenticulars such as Wizyakuza (popular for his 3D feel art). And if you are free, you can try using Fiverr, as you already have established many past artworks which can be used as your portfolio.

With regards to the OP, I really like your creativity and how you portray stories related to cryptocurrency in a way that anyone could comprehend and enjoy reading. Any plans to create a short animation for those stories?? It would be fun to watch as well!

That's something very interesting. It took sometime to load this PDF version but it was worth reading. I always love comics and i will also take print out of the few pages which really made me laughed and would paste them in front of my working desk.  Smiley

I am very much familiar with Wizyakuza and that's where I got the idea of lenticular printing of bitcoin inspired digital artworks. Luckily though, I was also able to have a short conversation with him through facebook messenger to ask where did he print his digital artworks. Maybe this coming year I will be making a custom bitcoin digital artwork and create an auction similar to what OP did in his mini bitcoin comics.

As for those websites you have mentioned, I still don't feel like creating an account with those freelancing sites and I am not certain to build an image as there is some pretty stiff competition out there. Moreover, I don't think that bitcoin inspired artworks will be easily recognized on their platforms.

Thank you for all your positive comments, heartfelt! This is the kind of feedback that give me a reason to keep going and make more of those stories, so again, thank you Smiley Sorry it's a bit of a messy post, but I wanted to reply to everyone's specific question below.

By the way if you liked the story in the pdf, the next few episodes have already been published online. The list can be found on the site at https://www.bulltardia.com

This is a really cool concept! Did you use Adobe Photoshop and a pentab for these excellent illustrations? Or you've made them traditionally?

Cheers. Some of the drawings have been started using traditional media, but in general I have been working off Procreate using an iPad. This is the digital framework that had the most organic feel imo. My previous digital stack was using Adobe suite and a  Wacom tablet, but it doesn't come close. Being able to use gestures fills part of the gap between digital and "analog" and with it some of the subtlety that is otherwise exclusive to physical pencil and paper.

Also, how can you make some profit out of doing this hobby aside from making a collectible auction (thank you for the idea).

It used to be a hobby now it's a full time job, not because it's profitable (it isn't), but because doing anything else feels wrong. I can't really explain why, but left a decently paid career to fully dedicate to making art. Financially and in many other ways, it is a horrible choice, but it's in my guts, I have to do what i believe in to be a sovereign individual.  On the plus side, i am grateful enough to have a few patrons who like and believe in my work, I also get income through commissions, the sale of the book and running collectible auctions. The first one was right here on bitcointalk.org: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279649.0. Planning to do another another one very soon in case you are interested.

Thank you!
A lot in the story is a reference to Bitcoin.
- The campfire group and their debt issue refers the social and economical environment at the time Bitcoin was created (subprime crisis, occupy wall st)
- The church of Fiat symbolizes the central Banks and national currencies
- Bit is a honey badger (no need for introduction here)
- His father is a man named Satoshi
- The Moonstone is ambered with a B shape
- Chikun is the common depiction for Litecoin
There are many more references. I plan to do a full lexicon on the site, but in the meantime, feel free to check out the Codex page on the pdf for additional correlations between the comic and the real world.

Using some animated gif in the comic was part of the original plan, but sadly some of the cool things i wanted to do had to be sacrificed in order to make the story move forward. This is just a one man project  Grin

Thank you!  Smiley This is the blue sky project for Bulltardia! If there is enough interest, I would love to raise some capital to do an animated series, perhaps start a crowdfunding campaign.

Thanks mate. All the lettering is hand drawn. I chose to do so o because it gave an organic feel and so much more can be expressed than when using a standard typeface. However you are right, that makes it harder to read at times.  Embarrassed

Cheers mate! Hope you'll enjoy the rest of the season as much as its beginnings. New episode coming up Jan 21st.

Forgot to mention that there is a treasure of 0.1BTC hidden in the comic (check out treasure hunt section)
I probably should post about it in a separate thread...
