Every year Bitcoin has not performed at its level best during Christmas and New year, but will it be different this year or else the trend will continue ? We are yet to witness any correction so far and if Bitcoin stays strong this weekend then Bitcoin will easily cross $25000 mark and if we witness any correction then it will be chaos.

What's your opinion on this?

It is Chistmas Eve and Bitcoin didn't move. If in the previous 11 Christmas price was down for Bitcoin in this day then it is a serious indicator. Maybe this time with travel restricted and many lockdowns in effect no whale will care to dump Bitcoin on Christmas as there won't be a reason either. What to do with the fiat since they won't be going anywhere.

Actually, during the last two months of the year, it is assumed that Bitcoin price will come down, (considering it's a festive period). However, this year has proven that logic & mentality wrong. This year has shown and taught us a lot, starting from when bitcoin was barely $3.5K. Till now; when it's creating and beating new ATHs.

Uncertainty and doubts would really be there because we had already experience something bad back in the past which we cant really blame out ourselves if we do still mind
that it might really be happening for this year since we are on the season on where bitcoin had pumped and presuming that correction would comes next.Lets see if it would
able to held up on next year to come and will continue to break 25k resistance. No one can actually know on what would happen when it comes to future.
We are moving sideways now but actually we do really had some good year of this market even though it might be a little late but we did see better numbers.

This is the possible scenario whales never dump it because they never need to celebrate holiday with too much money and they will stay at home like other normal people do. So no reason for them for selling large supply to the market they can do it later, base on what I noticed in price it's looks like they are going to break 25k price so selling it now is not a great idea.

Not really sure if this is correct assumption though, even at bear market of 2018, during Christmas, the price seems to spike and gain a little. Corrections? its bound to happen, we are still in the FOMO, everyone is very bullish so what do you expect?

Of course every price correction of above 10% will be chaos, in any market. But crypto is very different though, a crash of 30%-50% is possible in a single day or hours. But what's important is that how it bounce back from this pullback. Just look at the chart during March and how healthy the market was after that massive dump because of the virus news.

Well; it all depends on the type of correction you are expecting from  bitcoin because for me to some extents i believe bitcoin is doing well because there are new investors and willing hodlers who is in no rush at all. By chinese new year; i think we should get a glimpse if there will be proper correction or more bulls.

yeah, it was an amazing and truly different trend. In fact, I'd never expected that it keeps on moving high these days since we mostly witness a declining scheme in the previous year even last 2017.

I'm so thankful (maybe) to have this Covid-19, yeah, the crypto market benefited from this and also the investors. We got this huge strike and long bullish season because people are adopting crypto and the reason is that there is Covid-19 virus forcing people to adopt cashless payment system where it helps people to know more about Bitcoin and invest.

Well, I'd never say that this will keep on rolling till the end of next year, but to suspected it changes when vaccine started to distribute globally.

It has performed well this Christmas.

What's your opinion on this?
It did a correction that it made to $21900 and that's in purpose. Don't think if it will cross to $25k that quick this time. What you need to appreciate is that it is maintaining to $23k. The correction has happened so hitting a new level like $24k - $25k will be done soon.

We would be needing some positive sentiment or news of acceptance or adoptions to have an another good run or increase of this market just like on what we had when Paypal had integrated bitcoin into its platform.

some been saying that this is due to covid-19 situation which is utterly baseless and i dont see any correlation at all.For saying on ending on the trend then it can happen anytime on where
bulls doesnt have the driving force on pushing the market forwards.
Im anticipating or expecting for some dive soon when these players tend to dump their stash. So we should really be prepared or ready for it.

Today's xmas and new year is different from previous years. As bitcoin continue to rise although it plays around 23k to 24k but it may easily goes up to 25k at the end of this year. Everyone's looking forward for another new ATH if not at the end of the year then probably next year around January.

Corrections are normal and will eventually gain strength for another bull run. Behold and prepare for the next progress.

I guess the price will go down a bit but after this holiday seasons, the trend will continue. Bitcoins trend and popularity in the digital market will continue to rage on and we should expect another highest spike in the coming year. I think great profits awaits for us after this Christmas season and we will be more surprised for the next ATH.

Or probably we might need to start to understand that there are no correlations at all regarding bitcoin subsequent rise or downfall with Christmas or any holiday for that matter.

And it all depends on what are the sentiments entering Christmas or New year, if we are in a FOMO then definitely the price will go up no matter what as it's hard to stop this feeling or perception. As compare to bear market, wherein this holidays are treated as just ordinary day and every one is very anxious because of the current situation.

Since we are in a bearish trend, then I don't expect a significant drop, on the contrary the price could rise to $25k.

Looking back at 2020, this year has been exceptionally good for Bitcoin and after it broke its previous ATH I am not expecting much. If we compare the present market with 2017 it looks more stable and less manipulative. I do not want to go into any price speculation but as the year comes to an end I think the price of Bitcoin will surely hit 25k.

The year 2020 is big for the world and very big for the bitcoiners. People who are into Bitcoin always state it is a high risky and unpredictable market. When one hear it for the very first time, surely the mind says why it is much exaggerated. When we start experimenting we'll get to know the true reality. Throughout the year the trend was quite good, it has given hope in life. Now the market seems fluctuating, and soon we can expect the ath if today's growth continues.

Last night, the US stock market closed three hours earlier. It should be said that it has officially entered the Christmas market. So when the downward trend still looks strong, it is essentially a process of the bears' ability to control gradually. So don't fully believe the surface of the market. The final result of the most influential issue a few days ago has not come out, but last night we can see that xrp has risen to $0.36 again. Don't be curious about this situation. It doesn't matter if it rises more, it is a problem of the currency itself. At the moment, I'll wait and see a little bit and spend the holiday safely.

I'm also expecting a kind of pullback, since Holiday season hasn't been great for Bitcoin. Still seeing it hold the $23,000 price shows a glimmer of hope that this bull cycle is not a quick pump and dump. But rather a continuation to the multi year bullrun just like how Plan B has predicted, and right now in a consolidation phase for a next ATH.

There's already a lot of pullback happened so I don't really think Bitcoin would dump below $20,000 again as more institutions keeps withdrawing their Bitcoin from exchanges, meaning, they are holding it for the long run which prevents Bitcoin from dumping any harder.

I feel like the price is going to rise up more before the year ends. Then after a new high comes the correction which usually happen for every high. Lets still hope for the best but still Expect the worst scenario. Bitcoin have gain great popularity this year and big companies and institution have joined, there is more instore for Bitcoin.

I have speculated there will be more fund managements will be coming for bitcoin. the latest case was about the XRP and it will not give a huge impact to the bitcoin as bitcoin never correlated with XRP but otherwise, XRP was only following bitcoin. The trend is still very bullish for bitcoin today and people have been starting to buy in again.
I have seen dozens of people from various groups were FOMO to get into the market again.

Compared to the great growth of btc in 2017 initiated mainly by individual investors this growth has been driven by institutional investors and is therefore more stable and long -term.
