This is a great news even if it is a small business the fact that the business is now accepting crypto or Bitcoin is a huge help for promoting it.
If I would have a business I would surely accept it too and also give my people a chance to chose how their salary would be given to them if they want it to be in crypto or cash or maybe half in crypto and half would be in cash.

I hope that you use 3rd party payment services to automatically convert the BTC payment into Fiat if you want to adapt the use of BTC for the long run. The BTC price is not stable and the current price is near the current ATH, Your business might suffer loss in case price correction occur. I'm concern on profitability of your business so I suggest to use a safe to incorporate BTC to your business payment system.

Your boss seems to be open with the adoption of bitcoin payment to his business and are you guys going to receive your salary in bitcoin too? if not, that's fine as long as you're maintaining the bitcoin payment option to your store/business.

What third party service you use to make it automatically converted into USD? or you're just using a plain wallet and does the calculation manually when someone purchases? I do not see this surprising but it is a very good idea. I do not see it surprising because bitcoin is getting more popular day after day, there will be a time bitcoin will be used directly as a payment means and which will mmbe more common than today. Bitcoin is just what we can call money, and can be used for payment. It will be good to make use of price correction algorithm that can make bitcoin price equals to fiat price as mentioned before so to make it perfect for price fluctuations.

I think it's a welcomed development because if the company to accept payment with bitcoin that shows that the country  the company is sited have also adopt bitcoin, so in another perspective such payment now that bitcoin is going up it will consume a lot of money from the company, I suggest that let your boss wait until btc come down in price

Congratulations on convincing your boss to accept bitcoin as payment. I hope that bitcoin won't get a correction after your agreement date so that you can continue your bitcoin payment into the business. I don't know if your boss knows the risk of having crypto payment in the business especially in this season where bitcoin is prone to a price correction.

Also, try to tell your boss to add a Third-party service if your boss decided to stick with accepting crypto payments.

It's not easy to persuade business owners to start taking in some processes that are completely alien to them, especially if not everyone is doing it. Your boss might be the adventurous type of businessman that knows where opportunities rest, and knows when to take some gambles. Not much are into risking their potential profits just for something that is completely unproven, and that is relatively unused in the market right now as a form of payment. If all goes well, your boss would surely thank you for letting him know about bitcoin. That's a lot of potential profits in the future if a lot of people started paying in the cryptocurrency.
