Sirius is making his own decentralized social media network Iris, and it is good that he is still active in cryptocurrency space, but who knows if he is using some of his other accounts to browse or write in forum.
That's pretty cool, though I can't stand social media myself--and yeah, just because he hasn't been active in posting doesn't mean he's not reading threads as kind of a lurker, and he could have an alt (though somehow I doubt that).
There are a
lot of members from the beginning of bitcointalk who aren't active anymore. If anyone is looking for some very interesting reading, you ought to take a look at some of the threads from 2009-2011. It was like a different forum back then, with different members and posts that'll make your mouth gape in 2021.
I've always thought that the old-schoolers that disappeared are probably living in luxury on some Caribbean island--assuming they held on to at least some of the bitcoin they owned when it was going for pennies.
