Why Ethereum is said to be One Step ahead of Bitcoin

Even despite that I'm convinced it can happen, I still believe not in the nearest future even if Bitcoin stops its development now. Not even in the next 100 years.

Didn't click on the link however, I don't think that Ethereum can surpassed bitcoin.

(1) Bitcoin is the prime mover of crypto, and as such it will continue to enjoy the support of crypto community, no matter what.

(2) There's no need to compare though, Ethereum has different used, it was build as a Dapp while Bitcoin as payment system, although is has evolved as store of value now. And Ethereum is so much faster, prior the the fees increasing in the last 6-8 months because of ETH 2.0. So now they have a problem with scalability same as bitcoin.

Ethereum will never be One Step ahead of Bitcoin, because you can see on coinmarketcap if BTC Dominance is 69.3% and it proves that there are still many people who believe to investing in Bitcoin rather than Ethereum, so I think Bitcoin remains the best cryptocurrency and of course the king of cryptocurrency, because besides that Bitcoin and Ethereum also have different function (Bitcoin is used for payment and Ethereum is used for smart contract).

I don't know if it is one step ahead. This can be an overstatement. What is certain is that Ethereum is developing rapidly. If it succeeds in the scaling problem then it will have an advantage as it will be more useful from Bitcoin that currently is doing nothing but trying to convince everyone it will become gold.

It's not possible because bitcoin isn't a smart contract blockchain project, Ethereum has its use case and it's different from Bitcoin completely, bitcoin is the grand master of all crypto coins and many new altcoins even posses better advanced technology than bitcoin but still none stands great as bitcoin, Ethereum deserves the second place and bitcoin will always be the best

Anyone can say anything, but I doubt the market is wrong here, that place Bitcoin far ahead of Ethereum, Ethereum is a good project but there is a lot of threat to its position now, if one of these Ethereum killer get traction this could be the beginning of the end for Ethereum because has we have seen, all these Dapps can easily be ported to other chain

I read the link you provide and the point raised can't be disputed but I don't see this has a factor for Ethereum to out lead Bitcoin. Among altcoins no iota of doubt it is the first. But our dear Bitcoin still takes the lead all season in the market.

With the points on the  article being laid down, I wonder why Bitcoin still leads the market today.  

No doubt Bitcoin is still being used by many technology giants, Ethereum is more preferred and used by more than 20 companies whereas only 6-7 companies use Bitcoin

I hope the author of the article care to give proof on this one.  But it was just a summarized thing without even proof.


Though I agree, ETH is one step ahead in terms of technology but in terms of adoption, Bitcoin leads the crypto industry.

You're welcome.
You don't have to put a link into a shortener. If you can put the original link, that's much better. That removes the confidence of everyone and doubts to click a link in a shortener form.
It is easier for everyone to read it if it's the link isn't like that. Or if you want others to see what's the content of that article, you can get some important points from that article and put it up on quote including the main link. In the future, anything can happen, but in the next few years, ethereum is not able to outstrip Bitcoin either in price or in terms of capitalization. It should be noted that these are also different coins for their functional purpose and they do not directly compete with each other. It's not even an illusion, if we are talking about the technical comparison between ethereum and bitcoin and i must say that ethereum is better than bitcoin. People were taking bitcoin as crypto that was ruling the crypto market. That makes the bitcoin can be considered as anything. If we are comparing another aspect between bitcoin and ethereum like the history, store of value and many more and bitcoin will be winning.

Some people said that Ethereum is better than bitcoin speaking from the perspective of technology within their blockchain, but in my opinion BTC and ETH is kinda different like apple to orange. I mean, what kind of parameters used by those who claims one crypto is better than the other. If we talking about its worth and market cap then there's obvious way to determine which one are better but comparing technology that's actually different. For example, PoS and PoW both have their own advantages (efficiency and security).

do not believe too much in the articles you read, because most articles only use theory without looking at the facts, you can see it on coinmarketcap if Ethereum dominance does not exceed half a percent of Bitcoin dominance, so it proves that Bitcoin is more popular than Ethereum and it will take a lot of hard work or a long time to make Ethereum more popular than Bitcoin (even though that would be difficult or even impossible), because Bitcoin is 1000 steps ahead of Ethereum and other altcoin, so until whenever Bitcoin will remain at the forefront and superior.

The increase in the cost of Ethereum is quite real, I do not consider such a turn to be something out of the realm of fiction. But when exactly this can happen is very difficult to say. Although looking at bitcoin there is no doubt that It will reach record highs, it is growing and growing.

It will be maybe sometime in the future when we will see Ethereum surpassing bitcoin. And I belleive that this could be happening because Ethereum is faster more technological advances but at the end it's better to use both for the time being. Also what makes Ethereum moving io is that Microsoft is adopting it as gaming royalties. And don't forget about the smart contracts that ethereum is providing.

If you are really unsure why you should talk about it now ?
Altcoins in general are very different from bitcoin in terms of usage around the world. The public and business people are increasingly interested in bitcoin as a payment system and this is evidenced by the increasing adoption of bitcoin in various business ventures. And this is certainly not the case with ethereum.
So don't expect bitcoin to come out of development in the future and there is no doubt that we will continue to have bitcoin development for the future.
