Bitcoin today is all time high and most of us would have some bitcoin or satoshi with us. Many people would sell the bitcoin at these high prices and mostly new people who do not have bitcoin will still not buy bitcoin because they think bitcoin prices are too high.

I would like that all of us who do not have bitcoins, should buy $200 worth of bitcoins , keep it in some wallet and forget  it. In five to ten years time you will thank me about this investment. Maybe most of the people will have their good retirement life if they just invest $200 worth of bitcoin today.

I'm sorry I'm not going to do that for Bitcoin or any other investment. Perhaps 1 satoshi reaches there but it might be 100 years not 10. I won't tell anyone to buy as anyone that was supposed to known about Bitcoin already does. I am only discussing with people that want to learn and not with losers that have no financial knowledge or understanding. Most people you will see around you are tools of a financial system that creates loan slaves that will have to work the rest of their lives to repay their credit card debt, student loans and anything else they bought without having the means. I tried talking to many people but it was a mistake. 90% of them even the near and dear ones will prefer to gamble these $200 in a casino or a lottery than to invest. Also they look at me in disbelief like I'm trying to sell them some scam so I'm not going to discuss anything again unless I'm asked first.

That is the wrong perception. There are many people who are not aware of bitcoin till now. I understand that people find it hard to believe but one day they will regret that they did not follow our advise.

I know that you do not have any ill intentions regarding your post but let me tell you now that people will not heed your advice no matter, they have their own minds to decide what to do and I think that you should understand. There will be people who will agree with you that's for sure but do not drill in your ideals to other, let it seep in. And if the time comes that you are right then it is their fault not yours. I did what you said a long time ago and I think it is a good way to have a secure albeit uncertain future. Let the people regret their decisions OP.

Simply put, invest some today and just hold on it for the next 5 years and see how it goes. This has been the theme for many years now though, and yet people are not listening, just imagine the amount of tweeter posts that I have seen, saying that they have bought bitcoin very cheap but sold them by least than $100 or $1000 and now they regret their decisions. So be wise and as the OP has said, look ahead in the future.

You did forget most important steps:
- Which bitcoin wallet to use?
- Where to store the $200 bitcoin?
- How about backup of the wallet?
- How to recover it on other devices?
Not your keys, not your coins. If you can not recover a wallet, you will lose your bitcoin.

Choose a non-custodial wallet, back it up, and practice to recover it from the backup. [General] Bitcoin wallets - Which, What, Why?

I think it's generally good advice for everyone to be patient and wait now.
Unlike in 2017 it seems to me that this bitcoin price rise is more stable and probably longer-term as large, institutional investors are also involved.
Those who are smart and patient now in 5 or 10 years will solve all their financial problems.

Some people may wait some pullbacks before buying some, just like me . Some people may say just like me is to wait because of the peak. What happened last bull run, around 2017- 2018, Bitcoin and crypto market reall suffered and bleed too much.

Just exactly as I thought. That sounds like a desperate ponzi promoter who wants to pump Bitcoin real hard for their own personal gains.
The intentions were good, but the way of introducing Bitcoin to people who are still unaware of were definitely wrong. Thats the reason why I always prefer people asking me first about Bitcoin, than actually preaching them how good Bitcoin is as an investment.

Easy to say but it will be difficult to convince people who don't know too much about crypto, you have to have strong enough reasons and evidence to be able to convince many people. I myself currently prefer to wait for the price down before rising again to a higest price than now.

Sure, if someone came to a similar conclusion with the one you came up with, that's actually understandable, at the very least he used his brain to understand and think about the future. In the first place, your appeal should've been to introduce the advantages of Bitcoin, not to tell them to shut up and buy Bitcoin, then you'll thank me later. Everytime btc hit a new ATH i said to myself, it is already too late to buy then suddenly after some hours btc will record another ATH, now am left confused at the direction of this coin, I don't want to believe the price will keep going up (even though it feels like that) the last correction was not very serious either, probably major correction will happen in January or February 2021, but the way btc is going it seems it will touch 30k before or by January. Congrats to holders who already bought and I don't know if it is advisable for anyone to buy now.

IMHO, I believe your intention is good, but how can we so sure that $200 dollars worth of Bitcoin will be worth thousands in the future, Are you considering the 'threats and fud's" in this industry like the government regulations issues and even the technological advancement in computing system might pose a serious threat to Bitcoin itself.

Quantum computing is gaining much attention recently because it was already achieved, so I think the future is uncertain thats why buying $200 worth of Bitcoin with that purpose is not needed. In my position, it is better to invest it today until the market is showing positively.

Actually he have a point on his suggestion since somehow it based on the experience of early adopters where they left some few bucks and became thousands of dollars, And we shouldn't trust to much about how these things go right now since before we experience some great price increase and turn us down when huge dump came, so its still good to listen to his advice and be careful about the future bring.

You never knew that $200 suggestion would bring you a good future so best to do that since there's few bucks to lose and the future is bring maybe 10 years from now.

Like @stompix pointed out, this scenario where 200$ in Bitcoin will secure your future is not coming ever. Bitcoin today is just another investment as good as real estate (before a boom) or a good stock that you believe in. We have to stop hoping for the 100X that BTC has been known for in the last decade.

The gains from here on will be modest. The important thing is that those who engage will be seen as those distant, risk-taking uncles who had a reputation for making risky bets in penny stocks but 20 years down the line, you hear them being very comfortably retired while your own family still struggles with finding right interest rates on a home loan.

I appreciate your kind gesture but even the same people would be eagerly waiting to see the drop in price, I know there's a massive change in BTC if we compare with 2017 this time price is going up. I will also not do that kind of advice, I will not wait for a lot of time to make bitcoin profitable. If you want to invest on bitcoin and make it profitable then why not make profits in trading? A 10 years is really not a good span of time for an investors who are using cryptocurrency as an asset in the market. There are a lot of things that might happen in 10 years, you can make it profitable in 2, 3, 4 years or as earlier as you can. So this strategy is only applicable to those people who are willing to wait for so many years.
