There are so many changes that have come about during Covid, that only an idiot would believe that there is anything to it at all. The deaths? Flu or pneumonia, just like every year at this time.

Note that various medical agencies have changed the symptoms for many different diseases over the years... just to get themselves out of a bind when something failed drastically for them.

Suddenly in 1961, cases of polio dropped almost to zero. But behind the scenes, sudenly cases of spinal meningitis sky-rocketed. Worked so easily, too, by simply changing the description of the symptoms from polio to spinal meningitis.

But now, WHO has redefined herd immunity again, this time stating that herd immunity can be achieved only by mass vaccination programs – which, of course, is not true. The WHO's website, under a section about COVID lockdowns, states:
"Herd immunity', also known as 'population immunity', is a concept used for vaccination in which a population can be protected from a certain virus if a threshold of vaccination is reached. Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to it." In other words, the WHO is trying to make people believe that the only way they can be protected from a virus by means of herd immunity is to be vaccinated.

In the US, Dr. Anthony Fauci now says as much as 90% of the population may need to be vaccinated or infected to achieve herd immunity against COVID-19, admitting in a new interview that he has been intentionally raising the bar based, in part, on what he thinks the country is ready to hear. -GEG

The World Health Organization has changed the definition of "herd immunity," eliminating the pre-COVID consensus that it could be achieved by allowing a virus to spread through a population, and insisting that herd immunity comes solely from vaccines.

The change occurred on a section of the WHO's website entitled 'Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): Serology, antibodies and immunity'.

The WHO's original definition (archived here) states that herd immunity "happens when a population is immune either through vaccination or immunity developed through previous infection. This means that even people who haven't been infected, or in whom an infection hasn't triggered an immune response, they are protected because people around them who are immune can act as buffers between them and an infected person."

by getting sick. your already sick meaning. you are not immune because you obviously got sick
those that get mild sickness. dont have to worry about immunity because they are obviously not at risk of death.

but to prevent you getting sick, especially for the elderly that get it severe/die means having some way of becoming immune before the sickness risk to prevent the sickness.
making people sick from a virus that is not already seasonal. is not 'herd immunity'
however a vaccine offers this protection.

herd immunity is not something that 60% have to be sick and suffer in this/next year..
nor is it a guarantee that those 60% will then be in the following year immune.
thus it would actually require getting everyone sick this year. for a hope of 60% herd immunity for next year
which is dangerous game to play this year.especially for something new and severe

trying to kill/harm people now by passing on the virus is not herd immunity. its infection.
the herd immunity may be something they then gain and retain for following season.

but a vaccine offers the protection without the severe symptoms/death. thus is herd immunity for this/next year as it protection without the sickness now and for the future

your warped vision of herd immunity is to shoot people in the head to hope it saves them from getting shot in the head next year. not realising the act of shooting them in the head this year is of itself life threatening
