To make sure visit coingecko or coinmarketcap and access the website from there so anyone can ensure that they are dealing with the correct site. Dont use Google search engine, chances are that a fake website already above the real one and if you mistook it you'll end up being scammed.

The car engine on google is sometimes the real one is always below the fake and there are many examples that happen like the bustabit that was recently posted from this forum, so it's true you better search from Coingecko and Coinmarketcap for a safer one and I often do this so that not easily fooled by scamer.
Now Finance is always abused a lot, including in their domain project to make sure, even though in it they have infiltrated and are planning to extort your money so I think this needs accuracy so as not to access arbitrarily like what was caught by the OP.

Yeah, google ads has been a hotbed for this criminals making fake and phishing website just like what the OP discovered. Very similar in style and look and one can easily fall for it if we are not careful.

For crypto users, you can still use Google but be sure you know about this kind of fake websites. For newbies? I would agree to stay away until they got enough experience to distinguished fake from the real ones. There are a lot of ways to find the legit one trick you mention.

Probably the site was already down, I can't access anymore the link given by the OP.  If we saw a phishing link like this, we immediately report to the Google Report Phishing Page, so that they will immediately take action about their Adsense.

The suggestion above was right, use Coinmarketcap if you are looking for an exchange platform so that you can assure your self that you are safe browsing and never use the Google search engine because that's the problem with them, they can't filter those scam ads or phishing ads.  For them, as long as the ads will pay they still accept it and they never mind those people that might become a victim just because of them.

It is always advised to check url address before logging into any website with your credentials. That is the reason most exchanges ask you check the url before you enter your username and password.

Beware scammers are everywhere and you are responsible for your money.

Now many finance products are misused for their own interests, even they make phishing sites to resemble even if we don't pay attention to it from the url then it might lose money there.

What's happening now

Phishing
Ponzi scheme
And a project with the same scheme to mimic it.

So we have to pay attention to this several times, every time bullrun occurs the scamer is everywhere.
