I think that they're looking for suggestions for the potential for other Alts to make significant gains, smaller cap and lesser known Alts can potentially be far more profitable.

My 2 cents would be to ignore threads which mostly contain posts by newbies and bagholders shilling their coin such as stakenet/XSN  where the same member(s) post in multiple threads.

They might be asking it to diversify.
Some cannot just wait for a long time for Ethereum to increase and they want speedy profits with another.
It's best to ask and maybe filter them for a better option. Or you can provide the option for members to pick and maybe something good will come up.
At some point, it becomes boring doing nothing. I don't know if you feel that yet but in years in the crypto industry you might.

For me, those people are hunting for a huge returns just like what few altcoins that succeed, especially those in the most highest market cap.
I feel them, when I am new in cryptocurrency before and I felt before that I think I am already left behind, that's why I keep asking the best or good to buy. That's why I always ended getting REKT. Well, I hope it will become a lesson for everyone, not just me.

People are looking for coins/tokens that outperform the top cryptos or Bitcoin in particular. Bitcoin is now at $27k. If you buy Bitcoin with fiat now and what to double your investment, BTC needs to pump to over $50k. That's a long way. However. If you find a cheap altcoin with a good project behind it for a few cents, even a 10x ... is easily possible. I think that's it what most people are hoping for when they are looking for the best altcoins.

They know that but they dont like the price. The price of eth isn't cheap that is why they look for something else that their pockets can afford.
And they saw some altcoins that have tremendously pumped and that is why they dont like eth.
Each investor and trader has the likes for altcoins, and they chose not to choose eth.

Not everyone can afford Buying Ethereum to hold ,and besides if you will buy ETH with 600$ per coin, Then why not Buy Cheap altcoin  but at least in volume.

The Chance of increasing May not like ETH but Things may happen in future ,what if In future this Coins make a Move up ,if you bought a cheap coins from 1$-5 and success comes to the Team ,then surely the value might at least goes 100$ or more ,Bitcoinalso starts in a almost no value at all but look at it now.

But At least Make sure that We have even small amount of ETH,for added Holding and preparation for the future.

They wanna bet for the small gem that can become the next big thing like link or some major coins. If you are an old member here and then you have been experiencing the same thing when people have asked any members about the best altcoins to invest. At that time link was a new coin and this time it's sitting on the top rank of crypto coins.

There are several types of traders, including scalp traders and those with little capital who don't really like Ethereum because of its stable short-term movements. There are many alternative altcoins that are more suitable to trade for them to get maximum profit, especially the low price and recently listed altcoins.

Most probably they are looking for suggestion what alts have a good potential or worth investing. They want to know how to buy cheap and earn big, etc.

I'm sure that nobody is asking about what coin is in second place (by market cap, as Ether is not the most expensive alt).

First, you are talking about Altcoin and then you are talking about top one is Bitcoin where Bitcoin is not an altcoin. That's a silly post you just made.

Regardless of that. probably other users are having another great potential altcoins to invest beside of Ethereum so it would be great to know all of those. It might be the best for you but it doesn't apply for all of us.

It does not hurt to know the opinion of people regarding the most profitable coin in the long run.  Only the best coin can give an investor this kind of result.   Although other coins are good for short time trading, serious investors that is not familiar with the market often ask people around them and weighs which one gives the most reasonable suggestion.  Others are just for information thing, so that they are updated and knows when asked by their friends regarding cryptocurrency.

Even if they do not like ethereum there are still many top quality altcoins available in the top 50 to 100 cmc list so it is not a tough thing to do especially if you have some experience in the market.

Even if they do not like ethereum there are still many top quality altcoins available in the top 50 to 100 cmc list so it is not a tough thing to do especially if you have some experience in the market.

that's not a big problem dude, they are asking for the suggestion and they can take our opinion as a comparison to their analysis. that will be fully working consider people have different point about any project dude. it's not about blindly investing into the top 100 CMC. It's not simple as that consider there will be a lot of considerations that must be done by them all.
The majority of people who were asking this question still newbies or didn't have a lot of knowledge about crypto.

Someone known to them could've made a big profit out of very minimal investment. The same could've made the person expect big profit. This isn't possible everytime, and most of the altcoins that weren't popular but providing good return out of the investment happens for a short and when we look for further investment over the same, it won't be having volume. Sorry to mention this But As my observation for Years now ?most of the Account Asked about this are Bounty hunters ,they are much more than Newbie that really has no knowledge at all, and my Conclusions ?

They are Just creating Thread to Spam with their Alts or Bounty Friends ,Imagine Bounty hunters that directly involving in many projects ,Knows the Cons and Pros Will deliver same question ? Hope I am not adding more malice in this Issue.

Agreed. The newbies are still having doubtful about any coins even these coins were included into the top tier coins. They will always be asking about when the time to enter the market, is this coin worthy enough, should I buy this coin and many more. They are making such questions to answer all of their hesitations to the coins. If we are having enough knowledge and just answer them and that maybe enough for them to get their conclusion
