No one can really say whether you make the right investment or not. You have decided that you will invest on Ethereum so be it, you don't have to regret something that you decide for yourself.

Besides, it seems that you only invest what you can afford to lose so I wouldn't say that there is a mistake on it. As for bitcoin, yeah it seems that it has taken over the market valuation, 70% dominance and with a new all time high every time? that's big.

Your price target for ETH is only realistic when we'll see another altcoin season. But when will the Bitcoin dominance decrease and altcoins pick up pace? That's the big question. Right now it looks like only Bitcoin is leading the way and alts cannot follow.

Whether you made a mistake or not depends, in my opinion, on whether you bought ETH with fiat or Bitcoin. If you sold your Bitcoin to get some more ETH, it wasn't very smart imo.

ETH is a great coin so I don't think its a mistake, although you bought on its expensive price hoping that it will continue to go up which I can also say that its possible to happen. Altcoins follows the trend of Bitcoin but there's no specific time for that and maybe, next year will be the best year for altcoins. ETH will make its new ATH in time, just keep on holding and accept the risk you are in to right now.

You didnt make any mistake but the problem is how can you sure about that? This time all of eyes are seeing bitcoin as the most promising crypto to be used as an investment. Ethereum is still stable on the current price but it was losing a lot on the bitcoin pair.
Im in both of bitcoin and ethereum for the long term investment. Ethereum 2.0 can be a good thing to bet on it but the problem is if the trend will always change

Yeah, bitcoin was once again in the hot seat now especially in the topics of bitcoin discussion talking about the market price movement. Bitcoin had been hitting 28K and now back to 27K$. It was surprisingly good and that was the ATH of the moment. You see it wrong you never think about the scenario of if Bitcoin decrease other altcoin will also follow and it will reduce its value the same with BTC. The safe place right now for my opinion is in USDT and wait for the correction don't forget that ETH price right now is also the highest price of it for this year so it's not wise idea to buy any crypto if you know it's in peak price.

But if you believe that the price of ETH will go there what ever the price of Bitcoin then you can continue holding it. I just think that this is not the right time since there might be a correction that will follow anytime soon.

If you saw the price of Bitcoin is increasing then you are supposed to invest on Bitcoin right then why you have chosen ethereum and expecting the same growth in it? ETH all time high is $1400 but now it is almost half of it so still a long way to go for your desired target. But it's not good to invest all of your money in one coin.

During bitcoin still dominance you less chance and opportunity with altcoin moment because looking bitcoin raise more than 17% higher price altcoin still down and lower price, just change few percent and waiting for bitcoin down altcoin will allow with bitcoin price for down. I think you need waiting when bitcoin have stable price and move by investor for trade on altcoin and give back dominance altcoin than bitcoin, but we don't when bitcoin have stable price and how long bitcoin keep exist above $27k will reach higher price or going down.

I want to share with you a little secret. If you check historical data and current data you will see ETH price always stays at the same difference with BTC. Like 1 BTC = 32 ETH is the rate that ETH always follows. So If BTC goes up and 1 BTC is equal to lower than 32 ETH then ETH price will definitely go up at some points to match the relation between them. So ETH will go up if BTC goes up.

It was 2017s december eth was reached almost 4k$ value and bitcoin was almost 20k, now bitcoin crossover 27k margin but eth not following this rally like was 2017 but you can make hope about future, ethereum will be gaining more value and it’s about will be crossover 1k in near future.

I don't remember that information not even checked it from CMC that ETH almost reached 4k$ it's almost 1500$ and that's it, while bitcoin

reached 20K$, there's a good sign that ETH will follow and create another pumped. If you do believe that this project will bring decent then

buying at this point is a wise decision to make.
