after that, every altcoin announcement and project was like a total scam, Every new member became a copper member for management of a project.
 I mean why isn't there any rules for this?
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

Introducing copper memberships was actually just the forum owners capitalizing on the forum traffic, especially from newbies who could not earn merit to rank up. While the cost wasn't really much, it may have given some dough to the forum. I was frankly surprised by this because one would hope that forum owners would be OGs with enough Bitcoin. That does not seem to be the case.

As far as scams are concerned, this forum is still the best place to get decent bitcoiners interested in your project, if you are a decent project. For scam projects, the whole crypto industry has become an easy spray and pray venture. You keep churning out scams and wsbsites snd TG groups and keep raking in the moolah. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop you if you are good at it.

Anyway,
I don't cover those scam projects coz I was also a victim of them but just want to twist that mindest of the people thinking that every new project launch is worthless and scamming. No, that it never means and not all new projects are a scam, only it happens that they failed to give our expectations.

It's up to us if we would like to invest or not because in the first place, nobody is forcing us to buy their products but we are.

What rules do you mean, if you are talking about forum rules on scam/fake projects, take note that scam is unmoderated, it's your responsibility to DYOR and consider the project you'll like to either advertise or Invest in; if you're of the realization that most altcoins are scam & pump and dump/hype coins, then why are you looking for rules to avoid them, just select good alts like eth and invest alongside btc, that's a good strategy imo.

I don't quite understand what you mean, there are quite a lot of projects that come to the forum to advertise their ICO and other whatnots, but it's not a must they all must advertise here and even if they are scam projects, it wouldn't change anything nor will it stop them from scamming users if they advertise here, as the responsibility is still with the users to do their own research.

Scamming will lessen and eventually Stop  If Bounty hunters stop helping them to promote their Scam projects .

even if you don't intend this to happen ,But you are part of their Scamming Success ,because without you promoting and advertising their project They will gain no popularity .

You wanna know the truth mate? The sad thing is that scams will never stop. It is we that should adjust in encountering these scams and how to manage ourselves in this situation. Not just in crypto, but in all life aspects, scams are always there. I know how it feels to get scammed, because we all have been there before. Both our time and money are scammed, but it is all about learning our lessons and moving on to be better decision makers later on if we encounter any of these scammy opportunities again in our emails, Telegram, etc.

I think no one can find who is real or who is fake. Scam are everywhere even in our physical life so it will not stop. Its your responsibility to make sure that you are not being scammed by know about the project and search everything about it

This is very true, so many scams have been going round this forum for many years, like the poster said, it all start very badly after crypto boom in 2017/2018, since then, 9 out of 10 projects sooner or later turns scams, this is if it's not an outright scam, this is very sad for crypto in general cus the bad news for me is that I don't see this stopping anytime soon.
But all the same, we all have to be very careful when investing in new projects and also research very well before deciding which project to participate in its bounty program.

First of all, scams are not moderated here which is already mentioned in the forum rules so don't expect the forum to stop these scammers, but still, there is a system called trust system which can warn other forum members about scammers and potential scammers if they involved in any shady activities.

This forum is for bitcoin so not every shit project supposed to announce their launch here, if they want they can so there is no obligation.

It's a whole new level of risky project if they can't provide a link to their ANN thread on this forum, don't give such project a face at all, there are hundreds of such projects on Twitter and some people are buying such coins and tokens, if we are ever going to choose the right projects it's on us, we have to put in more effort to recognize better reliable crypto projects

I think Copper membership was put in place incase you are a newbie and want to post images, you don't need to pay or incentivize anyone to post for you, pay the membership and you are fine, I have no issue with this. People complaining about scam on this forum need to realize that scammers are everywhere, Twitter, Facebook etc. A lot of people have lost fortune because of their own greediness and naivety

As a new project emerges, they join the forum with a newbie account. Thus, they choose to purchase the copper membership that allows them to post any relevant details, like a picture related to their project. In such a way, they can effectively present their ideas and objectives to the investors. But remember, it does not mean that the project is reliable. Hence, you still need to conduct an inquiry to validate its reputation.

In my opinion, it is difficult to stop scammers because the scammers are constantly looking for ways to attract other people to invest in their coins, therefore we should be able to avoid scam projects by stopping to promote their Scam projects.

I think a scam project is not going to be easy to just stop. Because after all, a project that might fail in the middle of the road is also very potential to become a scam. Moreover, there are also more and more newcomers whose knowledge and knowledge are not yet extensive about crypto. So they will be the main target of scammers. That's why there's what you called scam accusations board. There are users here who are diligently exposing potential scam projects by publishing their plagiarized whitepaper, fake team members or even those running ponzi schemes. Those projects employing or using fake team members have high likelihood of screwing investors as they can disappear anytime without divulging their identities. In regard with plagiarized wp, it means, these scammers have no time to create their own so they are just copying someone else's work and just changing the name of the project. These scams will not stop up until there are naive users that will keep buying their crap coins. If no one will buy those coins, I guess scams will subside eventually.

logically there are no scammers who admit at first, they will claim to be legitimate to us, even though they intend to scam in the future, therefore before we join the bounty program please always do research so that we don't get involved in plunging many people into fraudulent projects.

Well as we all know, this is deregulated space called cryptocurrency has no set of rules that would dictate how one behaves in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. That is why scams are abound because anonymous people still makes them and people are still victimized unfortunately. What needs to be done at this point is really to determine which are scams and which are not and we should have accumulated all these years of experience with this.

I think management of this are not well known about this type of situation and also it’s to much difficult to judge about a real or fake programme, there are many of bounty hunters also face on this disgusting situation.

I think manager need to judge before launching the project if he wanna become popular .However it is so easy to being a copper member id and launching a fake project so before joining any bounty hunter should research themselves or look into scam accusation it can be protect the spreading of scam project .

The problem is it's difficult to differentiate between a good and bad project. Unless something is proved to be a scam, projects may fall in any category in the perception of the person who looks over.
As it is a forum, everyone expects free share of ideas and projects. The more you try to regulate or control it, the more controversies arise. Moderating is a difficult job. We have seen a lot of drama on every forum including this one for every strong move the mod makes.
