When This Scam Will stop??

We can not stop the scam projects in the forum because they are also members here who can freely post in the bounty section or the altcoin announcement. It would be good if the moderators checking the project and will delete the thread if spotted a scam but it's not their job to doing that, so the only way to prevent you to scam is to research the project.

The decentralization era does value that each and every individual can open and launch his own project, there's no solution to prevent the users from launching scam projects but in the other side, we should raise the awareness of investors in order to reduce the scam attemps/accidents. Each and every user of cryptocurrencies can be scammed, unfortunately.

I think when you are spending money on copper membership, you are either already a scammer that managed to get some money, or you are willing to risk it and spend money on a scamming project you have, which is weird and unlikely because most of the time scammers are not super rich people, they become scammers BECAUSE they do not have money. In any case I believe it is not about the copper membership, it is about scammers realizing there is too much money to be made from crypto at this point.

I could literally just create a token with 21 million tokens available, sell and distribute 20 million of them, and keep that 1 million for myself, spend all the money I made on marketing (well even half would be enough) and I could sell my 1 million tokens when the price is high and get out. That would be enough to make few million dollars very easily, you could probably make a lot more if you want to.

no one is responsible for that, although I agree to prohibit fraudulent projects on this forum but as a bounty hunter you should also understand the risks of being a bounty hunter. we are no stranger to project fraud in this forum, my advice is always to be careful and consider every decision you want to take in the Bounty project.

now we have difficulty distinguishing between real projects and scam projects, the reason is that now even scam projects even have roadmaps, whitepapers and all things that almost resemble real projects and this is one of the causes that causes many bounty participants to get trapped in project scams now including myself, now even many projects that have registered tokens on the market do not pay their bounty participants at all.

You can't blame this forum or the admins for launch of different projects. A newly launched project can't be flagged as scam just because some people feel it is. I think a separate entity should be set up that will monitor these projects immediately. That's the only way to curb any scam that will pass through here.

No one literally knows what exactly will be the ending of every project for the fact that the team developer is right behind the act if the project will be successful or will turn out to be just a scam one. The spread of scam projects will be minimize and can possibly stop if all will be aware and take responsibility of not promoting scam projects so that people will be saved from getting in touch with those scam ones. Some scam projects are easily detected due to obviousness on the nature and the way of promotion they are executing but there are instances that even a promising project can still surprisingly turns out to be a scam at the end depending really on the project developer themselves.

There is no way to completely eliminate fraudulent projects on this forum. What makes scamers comfortable on this forum apart from investors' money is that most newbies always promote projects that are either clearly fraudulent or marked red by Top Members.
they keep on doing it non-stop, I don't blame it because it's their right. it's just that by not continuing to promote suspicious projects then at least we can reduce the scam among other scams projects.

there is nothing that can be done to stop the scam, unless we do our own research beforehand on what we want to invest, no one forces you to buy anything here, this is purely the responsibility of each individual.
as for this forum has stopped many of these activities but it is impossible for all of them to be covered.

I believed those copper membership managers who manage projects in these forum do so to bring some credibility to those projects so as to attract bounty hunters in participating or promotion their projects however these are some tricks which will eventually turned to a scam in most cases however researching deeply about some of these projects will help hunters to detect scams or fraudulent ones however its a pity many hunters don't bother to check for these facts before working for them

Some projects wanted their ann thread to be created by an account with the same name as their project and at the same time manage their bounty campaign.  I don't find any wrong in there since it is what we called part of branding.  So they decided to buy a copper member and create their ann and bounty thread. 

Now with regard to scam project, it is not a good thing to say that all newly announced project in this forum is a scam.  Pointing fingers without any proof is a bad thing.

The current member status is not number one. If there are traders, engineers, scholars and breeders then we cannot stereotype that scholars in this forum are more honest and experienced than traders and breeders. The point is how his experience, what projects he brought, who joined him so we can judge a project will be a scam or not. So when will the scam stop? When no one can be deceived anymore.

This is the freedom that exists in this forum and everyone can do whatever they can. we don't even know what is real and what is a scam. even though the project is carried by an account that has a legendary rank but that is not a guarantee that the project he manages will be successful, so basically it depends on our carefulness in choosing projects and doing a lot of research.

Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

This is called decentralization.
A lot of projects are scams or are organized by people who have no experience in managing such projects.
If you think the project is fraudulent, you can warn other users about it.
The main idea: "The fool will still lose his money", therefore it is impossible to protect all users from fraud, but only to teach them to think and invest correctly.

I will give such a proof instead of OP. According to the rules of the forum, scam are not moderated on the forum, so scammers will continue to post their fraudulent projects here. One of the latest scam that I have identified https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5304890 is the Yearnyfi Networ bounty, posted on the forum on December 28, whose team consists of fake members. A fake team is one of the most common types of fraud.

It is never going to stop. Catch a new scam and expose them, five minutes later a new one will pop up. Do you really think people will give up trying to make some quick easy money by scamming dumb people? No they won't. Services that are probably scam aren't moderated. It is not the responsibility of the moderators (as far as  I know) to catch scam. If you see or think something is a scam, you can warn people on that thread. If it is a self moderated thread, you can open your own thread in the appropriate board and warn others. In the end, it is the responsibility of the users to keep them selves safe from such scams.

Yes. Scams will always be here every now and then because of investors more particularly newbies who come into crypto with less knowledge and preparation. If all investors and bounty hunters have done a deep research first on the project they want to invest or promote, then maybe scamming nowadays might start to vanish until scamming around will no longer be observe.

We all hope that this forum is free from project scams, but it is not possible to do this, because scamers always have various ways to trick their victims and also the scamers who are always around us. but at least we can avoid continuing to do thorough research on the project and not falling in love with offers that don't make sense.

It's not only you but there are so many people got pissed off by the scammers. A bunch of scammers were creating the scam campaign as a way to get the free promotional purpose.
DYOR is a must but it's also the fault of hunters who didn't wanna try to DYOR before try to take or participate in any campaign. People should have learned a lot from their past experience.

Why are there no rules, like why don't scammers get banned in short?
That idea struck to me back then.
It was discussed a lot of times in here actually by some reputated members and I can't remember who said it but it said that even if those scammers get banned, they'll just create new accounts and do the same shit all over again. Nothing's solved and work has been done but to no effect.
That's why we got trust ratings so that even if those scammers continue to push forward, people would be able to see past trading history of it to be negative cause of scamming.

Indeed. Even we fully banned every scammers in this forum, it will be easy for them to create another account and change their IP address just to deceive people. It is why the best thing we need to do is to help each others by educating and warning others to make them stay alert and to know their illegal schemes.

This is a matter of common sense only, were simply if anyone have enough money, Well it will be easy for them to get a copper Member here in the forum. Now, about asking why there so many coins launched in the market, even doesn't have any idea about in the forum. I think this is a matter of money only, just like what I had stated in the above mentioned.

Not all project owners or crypto people which are really aware on this forums existence which is a bit odd considering that this is the most popular when it comes to crypto talks and disucssions.

Scams and frauds do continue to exist as long money is circulating and knowing this market do potentially able to stole or ran away millions of usd with a successful attempt of scam or fraud.

This is why when we do really get engage into something that involves money then always consider or rethink if you do encounter on something which is really too good to be true.
