We all know that it was a very popular forum back in 2017-2018.
after that, every altcoin announcement and project was like a total scam, Every new member became a copper member for management of a project.
I mean why isn't there any rules for this?
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.
This is a matter of common sense only, were simply if anyone have enough money, Well it will be easy for them to get a copper Member here in the forum. Now, about asking why there so many coins launched in the market, even doesn't have any idea about in the forum. I think this is a matter of money only, just like what I had stated in the above mentioned. Yes, it is about making money in the crypto world. It attracts people who have money to create a project to get more investors so that they can run their project for the long term. But suddenly, many projects turn into the scam and many people sad to know that the developer and the team abandon the project. |

It's easier to scam people in crypto space, there is also huge amount of money moving in and out of crypto space that's why crypto have became a target haven for scammers to operate, there is no way to stop scammers in crypto space right now even decentralized projects make things more harder and complicated

There can be some reasons for undeveloped coins. Firstly, Some of developer are very eager to to trade in the block chain technology market, but they don't know how to alive a coin and how spread it's market environment for investors at all and as a result after a few months or a few years the coin has taken over the underground. Secondly, scammers are arise a token by ICO and developed the coins, but after getting their profit they don't do any surveillance on the coin and finally the coins fallen down and counted as a dead coin. So, I think the scamming will not be stopped for forever.

Scams stop when someone unfollows a bad bounty campaign, leaves no room for them, and closes projects that look suspicious. This is just a form of anticipation, but to completely remove the fraudulent project in my opinion is very unlikely. But the problem is that people are too trustworthy with a project that clearly has a bad reputation, the return on investment is unreasonable or the payoff is too high and ultimately don't come true.

Well not all of the projects know about the forum, at the same time not all the projects would like to rely on this forum as well for manpower aka marketing campaigns. There are other sources for them to scout for people, like direct contacts and such. Not all people goto this forum to seek bounty campaigns either, as they go to some of the bounty websites that gives them direct access to bounties.

Copper Members donate directly to the forum and maybe that is why some of the campaigns that they are creating is just enough to create the amount of donation that they have made then stop developing their platform which will end in an scam. Another thing that has change are the Airdrops that are being announced. Most Airdrops right now has the possibility of being a phishing scam so we should really be careful when clicking on hyperlinks. |

What rules do you want? There is a cryptocurrency that is unregulated at all levels, so what's the point of regulating it at the forum level?

you must be new here ? since when do you see the scam stop ? scams actually never stop and theres no exception even to the crypto zone . this forums isnt only popular on those dates that you mentioned but bitcointalk forum will always be a popular when it comes to cryptocurrency . the one that is popular during those dates are the bull market for alts and btc as well as ico but scams are also getting rampant that time . the forum already enforced some added rules after that like merrit system and copper membership thing . not all can rank up now but if they have a money they can buy a copper membership just to post images on their ann thread but that was only it . scams can still be detected no matter what

Scam will never stop even not in the cryptocurrency world there are scams everywhere. The best way to deal scammers is not to allow them to do scamming. Educate yourself in the way how they made their scamming activity and then always be careful around especially those members that do like to PM you making some offer. Remember if it ia too good to be true then most likely it is a scam.

Don't trust someone blindly, just because he is having the copper membership. Scammers are very innovative nowadays and at least some of them won't mind spending a few hundred bucks so that they can scam ten times that amount from the unsuspecting users. Also, I would even request everyone to be cautious even with old user accounts. There were incidents where inactive Hero/Legendary accounts were hacked and then used for scamming.

It is not the forum's obligation to screen projects that will post or make their thread in this forum, but they can be tagged if ever they are suspicious of promoting illicit projects or activities. It is investors' responsibility as well to practice due diligence of making research about the project before investing. |

Scammers have always been around way before cryptocurrency was invented, there will always be some group of people who would want to take advantage of others, I can't say for sure if it's ever going to stop because this scammers just keep devising means to make a scam project look real, they keep getting smarter everyday and it's hard to curb them now, we just have to be careful when investing in any new project, always DYOR so you won't fall into the hands of these scammers. |

And Because of being high rank manager, people trust that fake project and buy tokens and get scammed. A real reputable manager won't get a scam project under his wing. It is the common thing for the newbie managers and they're usually the center of attraction of the fake projects that they bring. You're right about it being the project. Managers can also be the victim if the project developers has been good in talking with them and suddenly they won't notice it turning into a scam. |

that is really a big problem, now anyone in the forum can be a bounty manager, and he will accept any offer from any project that he gets, i've seen very very few projects that made a bounty program here, and their project did good after that, you don't here from them as soon as their ieo is finished, i don't know what could be done about it though, it's really hard to confirm whether a project can be successful or a complete scam. |

Agreed, the scammers can't be stopped and what we can do to analyze the project and if we have found something fishy about the project and we must have reported it to the manager. So many times even the reputed manager was getting fooled by the scammers. This is the true story and i have been seeing it so many times too. |
