brickblock.io signature thread is bumping everyday unnecessarily

brickblock.io signature campaign thread is bumping by a or more than one people every day from 2020-12-21 (18 more posts were made there).

Today I also see it is bumped. In this case, people are reporting the post every day and mods always delete the bumped post. It looks like a weird thing for the mods maybe. So my motive to post it here to know there is no permanent way to stop this bumping without deleting posts every day? For example, looking at the topic by mods or something like that so that these annoying people can not bump it again.

It seems the thread was used by these link spam morons. Reported the OP and asked mods to lock the thread.
And pretty sure not the last dead thread that will get bumped by them.
There is still a positive side. I managed to read some actually interesting old threads because of their spam. So at least there's that

Those posts are common spam made by bots the same those spam thread. Users will just report those posts and it will get deleted. Or just let the thread locked by mods.

Not sure that bumping post was done by the OP itself but threads can't be deleted or locked until OP is violating the rules so in my opinion giving temp ban for the people who keep bumping that thread can be the right solution to stop them.

It's not the OP. It's a group and morons creating accounts and posting all sorts of links everywhere. Either malware, back-links or both. They are nuked on sight anyway

Try pointing this thread to one of the global mods and PM him to lock the topic of the campaign cause spam.
if the topic is unlocked, spam will continue to scroll there.

Because @Strawbabies is not active starting February 24, 2020, so it's possible that if we PM it's useless.

What annoyed me most is that these bumpers are newly created accounts commenting off points with unknown links in the thread, its something outrageous and stupid.

Try pointing this thread to one of the global mods and PM him to lock the topic of the campaign cause spam.

This should be the best option to stop the rubbish, since the original poster is no longer active for a while now.

To those who are suggesting locking brickblock thread:

The forum is being attacked by spammers (probably for SEO purposes) and that kind of spam is happening every where in the forum. That's not limited to brickblock thread.
If the brickblock thread is to be locked, then hundreds of threads should be locked for the same reason.

You are right. But I did not see ever any thread which is bumped continuously for 8-9 days or something.

Great. And just checked it to confirm. It's locked means my motive is to succeed (I am not sure though mod locked the thread after seeing this thread or not). So I am locking this thread. Thanks who have shared your opinions and thanks to the admin for locking the thread.
