~I do not agree with your point of view, although the countries have mutual economic support through the export and import process but this process did not create too much development, the development came from competition, look at the crypto market, you can also see this process, most countries have specific products and cannot be copied by that country.

A healthy competition isn't going anywhere, and you are right, it helps economic development. I was rather talking about the unhealthy one, when one country(or a block of countries) desires to be ahead no matter what. If they can't grow economically, they are rooting for their adversaries to decline. This type of "competition" ended not so long ago, but fortunately for ever.

Moreover, the US is a fairly strong country in the military, the weapons are a very expensive brand and the US is very developed in this field, China is always difficult to surpass the US with current technology.

Absolutely agree with you on this one. Overall, any governmental propaganda telling their citizens they have better armed forces than the U.S. are just lying.

The military is military, but economically I think the Chinese are winning! It's because of their crazy products! So I visit Chinese stores and I buy crazy toys for my kid, for 1-2 euros, and you can choose! And few times I was amazed by some of their simple products, just plastic, and it's shit, and it's just a euro or two... so we can buy them all the time!

I am not sure about the healthy competition here, because there are too many Chinese, with many resources... but what they are doing in the last 20 years is paying off for them, they are everywhere, and a lot of money is in circulation, we probably can't imagine what is coming in and out from China!

This is just my point of view... I didn't/don't have access to many (if any?) products from the US, and maybe they are more expensive than Chinese, and I don't look/hear about them a lot, so I can't be objective here as some others can!

Apart from Tabasco hot sauce and Jack Daniel's whiskey, which I'm sure are presented in your country too, I don't see many products "made in U.S.A." in my country either, while "made in China" are practically everywhere. That's because Chinese products are offering an amazing price/quality ratio. But, speaking of competition, since  the Chinese economy is extremely export dependent, prosperity of other nations is essential for its growth. Imo, it's not much of a competition when you are interested in the prosperity of your rivals.

Spend some time reading these articles:

The first article by a Chinese media publisher and the second by a Western one. The main idea in the first news wasn't proven through reality while content in the second news has been verified all over the Internet. Just like Sinopharm, Sinovac was also approved long before by WHO. Do you think Sinopharm can make the difference? Forget about WHO, they can't even give any wise decision on Covid-19 Pandemic at the moment.

There are large number of countries which imported Chinese vaccines to vaccinate their population - Chile, Turkey, Morocco, Serbia, Hungary, Brazil, Cambodia.etc. And one thing is common with all these countries. All of them are witnessing a surge in daily CoVID infections and deaths. Countries like Chile have administered the first dose to almost 50% of their population, and still it doesn't seems to be having an impact on containing the pandemic.

I think it won't happen anytime soon. Although I'm not closing the possibilities.

China has been far ahead in terms of combatting the pandemic crisis. I applaud their pacing in addressing the needs of their citizens despite having a breakout early last year in one of their cities. China's economy has slowly recovered compared to the neighboring countries that are still stuck from lockdowns and quarantine protocols. Which I think have a nice impact to their economy because the residents can freely move and the businesses are fully operational.

However, let's also put into consideration that the vaccines are on roll already. Soon enough, majority of the countries will achieve herd immuty through the help of vaccinations. This will help most countries recover, particularly the US. Let's not forget that US is still the leading country in the world despite the pandemic crisis. So, I think, China will still have a hard time competing to get the top spot and replace US as having the largest global economy by 2028.

But then again, who knows? Only time can tell.

There is no pandemic in China. They managed to contain the pandemic many months back and the isolated cases that are being reported from there are migrated individuals coming from other countries. China, despite a population of 1.41 billion remains the only country in the world which has eradicated the pandemic, and all the other countries are struggling to contain it. And I am not sure whether vaccination can completely eradicate COVID 19. Because countries such as Seychelles and UK have achieved more than 50% vaccination rate. But even now, dozens of deaths are being reported from these countries everyday.

I just checked, and it's not dozens of deaths, actually.

Here's the numbers for 2 days ago:

and these are for yesterday:

(No new cases and deaths for Seychelles at all)

So, it looks like the vaccine is working, and not only China is recovering. Also, regarding China, the whole world should be happy about the pandemic is being contained there. China's share of global GDP is over 18% currently, and, in fact, everybody's interested in the growing of the Chinese economy, every country, including the US.

It's not impossible to happen since China's action has been promising during this pandemic. They have showcased proactive solution which made most of the countries left in awe. I actually commend them in handling the covid-19 virus. In a short span of time, the scientists in their country were able to made several vaccines that have high efficacy rate.

However, surely the economy of US will bounce back once majority of its citizens will be vaccinated. Sooner or later, their industry will be fully operational like China's and other neighboring countries. The two will definitely be great competitors of each other during that time as the largest global economy by the year 2028.
