Before, DeFi Coins mostly people invest in BTC and Other Alts But after the New Entry of Defi Investors/Traders changed the mind. Is it true after Defi People Changed the Prospective of Investment?

The DeFi space in its current state is an abomination. There is too much "rug pulling" going on in the space to take it seriously. Gives me flashbacks of the 2017 ICO craze and it's not going to end well. I don't think any of the current DeFi projects are viable long term investments.

I think DeFi has failed. Many people won't even know about DeFi. They made a very ambitious introduction but could not meet the expectations. I followed it at the beginning, but I no longer believe in DeFi's future

Bullshit. Intelligent investors are the ones who observe more and not jump into things as they appear.

See this sector of crypto and its sidelines are filled with plain scams and scummy projects. In order to make them look legitimate the owners put up different names and caricature to fool newbie investors.

For examples of this is altcoins which never had anything backing them up. Passive income schemes which are plain old ponzis. Then came the ICO/IEO/STO/Blah blah offering etc which also never became too big like bitcoin did except few handful.

These trends run this market and you as an investor have to identify this before you get roped in. DeFi is the current scam going on, plainly speaking. You might have some legit ones out there but rest 99% are worthless.

The best way to be safe about this is by following this statement - Bitcoin is the only thing you need. Rest all are a waste of money.

To start with, after Bitcoin, every other cryptocurrency and even the ones coming up today are regarded as Altcoins (Alternative Coins), that is to say, even DeFi coins are also altcoins.
Secondly, even with the advent of DeFi coins people are still buying Bitcoin because it is the best to hold at atimes, even most people who invests in Defi and sell off, also Invests some of their funds in Bitcoin.
Thirdly, Defi didn't changed people's perspective of investment, rather it gave a lot of people an opportunity to make more money while few are those who believes in Defi concept. Also, even when another trend starts, people will still move from investing in DeFi projects towards the new trend, in that case can one say the new trend changed people's perspective of investment? No but rather an opportunity to make more money because in every aspect, only very few goes for good projects in which good projects are few as well, the others are just an avenue to make more gains; that is, buy during Pre-sale or public sale and sell once listed.
Lastly, the concept of DeFi is a good one but only few projects are really working towards it, a lot of others are not.

You really need to stop asking these useless questions in crypto. How does it help you? How does it make you more informed and how does it help others make more informed decisions?

People who stop investing in BTC and move to Defi where never really real BTC people IMO they were just temporary holders, probably actively tried to make money in 2017 ICOs. Do not get distracted by defi,,, or ICOs or whatever the new name people give it now.

Honestly, I concur as people invest in a Defi project with a lack of understanding by its conception.

They made a very ambitious introduction but could not meet the expectations.

As with other different projects, some of them are claiming to be surpassing the higher rank and reputable cryptocurrency in the market. They are full of white lies to propagate with their investors, as in the end, they vanished after stealing the hard-earned money of investors. Thus, we should be wart as some have an obvious sign of failure that's why we need to be careful.

With the list of scams and hacks recently engaged with Defi, I can’t blame anyone with such an outlook as I even can’t imagine its future. However, we can’t just generalize it, and I think there are still good projects existing. We just need to be aware that any project can be a potential scam, so we should be vigilant.

This is not true, of course I know DeFi has it's hype and quite a lot of investors have fallen for this hype, but that doesn't mean most investors are leaving the BTC network to invest in DeFi, AFAIK, DeFi hype is already gone and investors now know it was more of hype than potentials.

No it is not true, mind you that just the way you feel some investors earned a fair ROI from DeFi projects, so did so much more lose their funds due to scam and hacks, DeFi didn't change any perspective imo, it only warned investors that there's more to projects than just hype.

I think Defi is not bad, but currently trying to avoid investing that smells of Defi, everyone is focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, indicating a hustle and bustle of the market is happening there.

Too many Maxis here. I like Maxis for they love bitcoin. DeFi is mostly being loved by shitposters here at the forum. Yet, this does not mesn that it is going away anytime soon.
DeFi certainly has a lot of traction and it is going to keep picking up. The only problem is that newbies will only lose moneh on it. Anything serious and with actual effort is being done in small groups behind closed doors. There are very few projects out in the public that can claim to actually be legitimate.

Yet, you cannot treat DeFi so off-handedly. Uniswap made money for a lot of people snd now another DEX, called as 1inch dropped some tokens which gained immediate liquidity. So, the trend is going to be with us.Just because Bitcoin, RSK and the whole sidechain paradigm not taking itself seriously doesn't mean that people will not work or invest using other platforms.
