My biggest regret will be those two projects that I got a chance to participant in but I didn't. My friends got over 2500$ just by doing a single trade in uniswap. Now I am trying to find a similar project that could provide airdrop like those two. I do not want to miss any project from now and I have already found some potential ones.

OP is right. The hype that these two projects got will make others deposit a lot of money on those next potential dexes that will have the same style of distributing and determining how many tokens a participant will receive. It could also be exploited by these scammers and take it as an advantage if they're not going to be careful. For investors that are fans of this type of investment, you really have to be careful and don't trust very much and test the waters as usual.

Just because UNISWAP and 1INCH exchanges give users that trade on their platforms huge amount of money through their valuable tokens doesn't mean you should now start depositing your assets on any new exchanges that you see in crypto space, hoping there will be another huge airdrop campaigns, you will get scammed if care is not taken, Newbies most especially I hope this gets to you.

Hahahaha, thanks for this advice, looks like you were directly speaking to me, I've developed that habit now but I was already thinking along this direction before I saw this post, I really hope it get to newbies as you have said, because newbies will be far more desperate, atleast, I always do my research on every dex I decide to trade on, but for newbies who don't even know what research is, it's a high risk for them.

The only way to avoid buying the wrong tokens from a new exchanges is to make sure they the Exchanges is well supported, popular and more talked about, I knew 1inch and uniswap when they are introduced to crypto world and they are talked about by well known crypto services but still one have to be careful

surprises like Airdrops like Uniswap and 1inch were unexpected and there were no announcements about it. Even after you warn this, who knows tomorrow or the day after suddenly the surprise will come to another Dex platform. but it's a different story if you have coins but are listed on another new DEX exchange. Instead Trying your luck while selling your coins on another new Dex.

Who knows it might lead to a new trend again, the trend of trading on exchanges and getting their airdrops. If one can check, if an exchange want to airdrop their tokens to active users I do not think it will be announced so as to make it worthwhile for those who have been trading already. On the other hand, since more people will likely trade on these new exchanges, considering the gas fees and so on, what if it is not worth it at the end, remember Uniswap was already a reputed exchange before that airdrop. Nevertheless, just analysing the profitable nature of the trading endeavour and lastly, it is better to have a new wallet for all these because scammers are still lurking around and the exchange needs to be at least a good and known one.

It would be fool for people to start using platforms indiscriminately all because you want free tokens but I believe we are going to see this trend continue, project will start user focus token distribution, this help kill start a community and have a stake in the game, If you give me $1000 for using your platform you have my loyalty and this is what Uniswap is enjoying now even after the Sushi attack

That is a wise suggestion for all people. We should use popular exchanges such as Binance to trade, and we do not have to worry if our funds will getting scam by them. But you still need to take care of your funds to trade because if you can not do that, you will only lose your money without excuse. Uniswap can be your way to make money, but you should know when you should leave that market, especially if you already profit from there. I do not know about 1inch because I do not trade on that exchange.

1inch is not a competitor for uniswap. It is an aggregator for decentralized exchanges. But if you compare prices, then for exchanges of 1000-5000 dollars, it is better to use uniswap.
Any major exchange will either be hacked or regulated
and you will have to wait a month or more until you are allowed to collect your money

However, there was a post few days ago on twitter that gave some heads up how you can increase your chances that the next 12 big DEFI airdrops don't pass you by (if they happen)

I agree with you but unfortunately everyone will definitely ignore it because many of them currently have very big ambitions to get tokens like Uniswap and 1inch in other DEX. What I know in the two exchanges also didn't give any announcements, suddenly they announced that they would give tokens for free to everyone who trades before the specified time. That's the biggest reason everyone is blindly trying their luck at other DEX

recently, i received an unsolicited message in telegram, inviting to trade in mooniswap.exchange giving the attached link with referral, saying that it will be the next UNI in the making and trade before it is too late. of course, this is just another tactic to gain referral commission. and you dont know if you can ever get out your funds.
the situation of Uniswap and 1inch is  a special case. not all DEXs can afford to give those free tokens and be worth something in the market. ask yourself, where will they get the huge liquidity? most of them will just be a pnd token.

I'm been trading 0xMR on Mooniswap using multiple wallets for their airdrop. Mooniswap is like Uniswap but they haven't released their UNI token yet.

I see this project needs to be re-researched and investors to be careful in choosing where they should put the money.

Truth is there is no fault if a newbie or a trader decides to embark on a trading spree on every dex exchange that is yet to conduct an Airdrop. It is a more training exercise that could come with rewards in the near future. The most important thing to share with a newbie is that they should endeavor to trade with recognized dexes listed on Coinmarketcap or coingecko to be safe to certain extent and also never to send their funds to anyone

In my opinion it is a fifty fifty action because it could be that they get an airdrop like the previous dex exchange or they will get a scam. So if anyone here wants to bet their money to pay fees on some dex exchange, go ahead. But the thing to do is never to save assets in the wallet to avoid getting hacked via dex exchange.
