Scammed by Wirex

I think I was scammed by Wirex.
Looks like an exit scam!
They probably wait for Brexit to happen in 2021 and vanish.
They blocked my account for no reason and also blocked my card both with 2000 euro in them.
Without access to the account you can only submit a support ticket which is not answered for weeks now.
I see people everywhere started to complain about their service with many lost their funds completely.
Beware of that company! There is no one from their support anywhere neither on this forum.
Just do not deposit funds into Wirex!

I see they're have horrible support service since they often late to reply the customer complain and another issues with the blocked or deposit.

Exist scam running for years and recently getting into a partnership with both Mastercard and Visa as a principal member?
Neah, they will not exist scam when they charge those ridiculous fees and have made millions with their token.

That being said, customers support is a disaster, not only slow but poorly trained, only once I managed to get somebody to help me clear and fast after their automated system was unable to understand the difference between a street number and a building number.
Shitty support yeah, huge fees checked, buggy app of course, crappy exchange rates but a scam, no! Or at least not yet!

Yeah, past! Wirex used to be so crappy I would have not touched it but I'm already using it for two years and encountered no issues regarding deposits or payments.
I have a feeling the problem OP is facing is coming from a different direction, somebody who actively trying to buy phone numbers and bank accounts in other countries usually gets into trouble with banks.

Seems that wirex turned into a scam .
Lot of users had frozen account with their funds since long time. Now someone have denounced wirex to police and reported it to FBI! There’s a whatsapp group between scammed user too

Yeah right!
You know that Wirex is not offering their services to US customers, right? How are you going to complain to the FBI when you used a service lying about your location. And the FBI doesn't care about foreigner's relations with foreign business, if the guy would not be trolling he would have submitted a request to the UK ombudsman, not some phony threats.

As I said before, not a great service, not a cheap one, but I don't see them scamming either, what would be the point when they are fleecing their customers like here is no tomorrow already?
And pretty weird how I ended up defending wirex, I never thought this day would come, damn!

Wirex seems like a big name to me. I wouldn't think about Exit scam. And maybe it will be resolved later. They earn enough from commissions and other commissions, so scamming doesn't even seem necessary if you look at it that way. I don't think there is anyone on the forum who represents Wirex, which also makes communication a lot more difficult.

Did you end up getting this resolved? Crypto.com have been mucking me about for months with verification so I was looking for an alternative that works in my country. Was considering Wirex but a lot of posts around like this has put me off.

At the moment all Wirex customers should (in my opinion) keep their hands off ordering new physical cards. I have experienced it myself, ordered a card for 5 dollars in January, never received it and then chose the express option for 15 dollars, also never received and don't become the money back, if you read along in the Discord I'm not the only one, so currently keep your hands off Wirex and card orders, they cost money and you NEVER get them.
