Anything seems possible, If Livecoin have lost access to the domain, server & social media accounts the little Livecoin can do is at least publish a press release trough one of the many site available for that.
I think two possibilities, some kind of extortion by a hacker, or exit scam, hope soon we will know.

Safex is a scam - Daniel Dabek is the creator of the scam Dascoin, the Director of the scam Netleaders & the creator of the scam SAFEX

Still confusing whether it's an exit scam or a hack although it doesn't make sense at all when hacker has no access to the funds. According to the message in the website, it seems hacker has no control over the fund of the exchange. How likely do you think that is, that a hacker could commandeer all of those things at once?  Admittedly I'm not a hacker and don't know how difficult it would be, but my gut is telling me that there's no hacker and that this is an exit scam being pulled off sort of like how Cryptsy did it (if I recall correctly).

So who's got all of the customers' funds?  If it's the hackers, there's really no need to try to extort Livecoin.  If it's Livecoin, then they should be reaching out to their customers to try to work out a way to return funds to them.  And I seriously doubt that a hacker gained control of all of those wallets that Livecoin had.

I'm very interested in seeing how this all plays out, but man....if you had money on Livecoin before this "hack" I wouldn't get my hopes up as far as getting it back.

today the term ends, that means we will see the morning what they will do

so far they have achieved nothing, assuming they are hackers, because if they are not hackers then at that time the owner of livecoin must be on some island enjoying good holidays with stolen money, remembering that with this increase in cryptocurrencies they must have made a fortune

You're pretty much looking at all the news right here in this thread (AFAIK), because Livecoin doesn't seem to have sent out any communications to their customers or anyone else--and if I'm mistaken about that, someone please post it here.

Sorry for your loss, but I'll say it again: this is why you shouldn't leave coins on an exchange for extended periods of time, especially shady ones like Livecoin, and their shadiness was well known before this so-called hack.  You might want to read a couple pages back where the reasons why this probably isn't a hack have been discussed.  I'm convinced that it's an exit scam, but only time will tell.

Any exchange that come out with huge stolen fund should be thoroughly investigated
You're absolutely right, but does anyone know where Livecoin is located?  Probably not.

That's right sir, so far there has been no news from Livecoin if their exchange has been hacked or there is a problem. so we as users have no news. I am thankful for being reminded and advised not to keep coins in the market for a long time.

If Russia is involved and the police are involved, then you know that the chances of corruption are quite high. you shouldn't be surprised if it is kind of covered up.

Thieves have just started to liquidate stolen resources !!! They just transferred all stolen ETH and other tokens to a currency converter Uniswap V2: Router 2 https://uniswap.org/

https://etherscan.io/tx/0xd14f6c57b5820c87310454d224f3a7e9fec7ad59e1b91211892841afc412d984

They're just converting everything so that it can't be tracked later.
