You can send money to them even if you will not be using bitcoin. As we all know banks could be use to transfer money digitally and that can avoid any transmission of the viruses especially now that we are in pandemic. However, if you wishes to do it in bitcoin in my case it would be a little risky knowing that bitcoin market is unpredictable and could fall down any moment depending on the people around holding bitcoins.

When giving out a gift, it shouldn't be money as it could help for a little while then, it's all gone and forgotten. If it should must be money, then it should be the amount that could set up something that creates more money by that I mean, an investment plan like buying bitcoin and gifting it off.
