Radeon RX570 Armor 8GB OC [Samsung mem]

Hi!

I have 2 new Radeon RX570 Armor 8GB OC with samsung mem. I get only 24mh/s and when I try to OC with AB I get less not more!
I tried to flash a bios from PBE 1.7.5 and it did not change a thing.

What can I do

Assuming you are ETH mining?   Use Phoenixminer with these settings

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set WK=%computername%
set EXTRA=-rxboost 50 -mt 1 -tt -35 -cdm 0
    PhoenixMiner.exe -amd -clKernel 1  -pool %POOL1B% -pool2 %POOL1% -wal bobben.%WK% -pass x -proto 1 %EXTRA%

and see if that gives you any improvement.   Pls remember to change the wallet/username as well as pool urls.  The above mines to miningpoolhub.
The above settings give me  30.3 MH/s on my RX 470s with Samsung 8GB, 1100 core and 2000 mem

Hi OP, bobben2 gave the perfect answer for phoenix miner, if that doesn't work try changing the OS, windows 10 OS can be a let down for few computer configurations, you can give hiveOS a try and you will get the maximum performance out of the box, you can first add extra ram too, some solve hashrate problem on windows by adding more ram stick

I have 2  ram stick and I am always testing my new cards and flashing custom bios with my win PC before adding them to a linux rig but maybe this time a will try on linux to see if it is better.

24.7 MH/s with your config and 1100 2000 OC  I have 2 Gigabyte (micron) cards on the same PC and they do about 30MH/s with the same config. weird

I'm not surprised, few motherboards performs very worse when mining on them and the only way to get out of this is trying a new OS, LINux OS, HiveOS, Minerstat OS, simplemining OS, make your choice and see if the problem is solved or not, I used to have 5 different motherboards for mining and I've experienced such before

The fact is you can't buy a new gpu and break it's seal just to check which memory they carry, some have better performance from Samsung memory GPUs and some from hynix memory but I just like Linux OS to be the most friendly mining OS probably because it is very lite weight, unlike windows OS that requires huge space, high ram space and other, I also recommend changing OS

Read it using a WEB translator
You need to find the right timings for your memory.
If the hash rate does not increase after flashing the BIOS, then try other options.
These video cards can mine 30mh/s

Sorry for not getting back earlier..   With the above miner on Windows 10, it doesnt matter if you have modded the GPU BIOS with custom memory timings, as the miner itself does it for you.   Basically, the -rxboost and -mt switches do this for you.
You need to start the miner as administrator for this to work.    Start cmd.exe by right-clicking  it and run as admininistrator.  Then you can run the miner in that command window.  This should work.   You can then tune the values that works the best with your card as every card is different.
