Nowadays newcomers want to get merit very easily.  Which is really ridiculous.  I don't understand how anyone can get merit by not being active in this forum.  They do not want to understand this simple thing.  Again there are many just bounty.  Bounty may pay them some money but can't give any knowledge about this forum. If you are active in the discussion thread of this forum then you must know better about this forum and get merit.  I personally want everyone to know better about this forum.  You must be active in the discussion thread if you want to know more about this forum.  So stay active in the discussion thread and post acceptable.  Only then will you get merit.  This will benefit you both at the same time.  You get to know Bitcoin better and get merit along with bonus.

That's what the hunters looking for, they don't want to learn about crypto and this forum (e.g. breaking forum rules) they only want to earn money ASAP. Bounty rules aren't strict and you can join if your rank is still newbie, so people can just use multiple accounts to join in same bounties.

Just create post that you has learned/mastered with on topic, you'll earn merit if some user think it's worth to gave his sMerit. Also it will be pretty hard to earn merit if you only active in discussion spamming thread (e.g. Altcoin Discussion)

Shitposters are many and plenty in bounty hunting, that is correct. But some people do not know exactly what they need to post in bitcoin boards, many do not just want to work hard to be a ranked member. It is not only about posting in discussing threads (bitcoin boards) that determines to be given merit alone but also learning and posting what will make other members to merit posts.

Its the impossible things of 2021 for everyone to been clever-working and knowledgeable on the forum, many has grown-into and intertwined-with their mentality of present which is not friendly with knowledge. But this is a new year 2021 and am not expecting a total dumping of bounty, it would be exciting though, but not possible, what I except is -NEWBIES- setting themselves good with knowledge-hunting more than bounty-hunting this 2021.

Although bounty participation are always associated with spammers on the forum that doesn't mean one can't be a bounty hunter and still be very productive to the forum. You just have to understand that bounty shouldn't affect your posting habbit on the forum. If the forum foresaw bounty as not useful they would have found a way to let go of them a very long time ago. The forum knows the bounty both benefits her members and the project so it's a win win situation but just that some cheaters are abusing the features.

In additional to what you have said, just been active doesn't guarantee you to get merits. We have users that have been active spamming the forums all through the year but can't boost of even just 1 merit to their account as a result of their contributions not been productive to the forum or not having the right audiences to award their contributions.

You should be active but meaningfully, that's you should only engage in conversation that you believe will be informative to others reading and your contributions should always be on point and avoid generic topic as well. Meriters hardly visit such topic to look for quality contributions between there's a minimum chances of them finding one there.

Hmmm, I know many users that very active but earn only few merit. There is a big difference on being just active on posting normal discussion post than posting a knowledgeable post. Your post should meet the standards of merit source(people who have merit in this case) so that you can receive since its not automated base on your activity in the forum.

You can get merit even you are inactive in the forum for a while. The condition is you must be a good asset of the forum and did contributed many good works in the past before the day you became inactive. satoshi left the forum more than a decade but the community members still send lots of merit to his works.

Activity makes sense but only for good members. With shitposters, active or inactive, they are the same and I see them as better version if they are inactive. They contribute less spam on the forum with their inactivity, it's better.

It is a fail-fail situation for them. Companies don't care about the forum, don't care about participants and quality. They need exposures as much as possible. Bounty hunters join them as they don't have dedication to contribute.

9 out of 10 that participate on bounties are spammers that own more than one account. I don't understand them, though, signature campaigns pay more and pay in bitcoin. These little punks, pretend to believe on a project that has no future most of the times and refuse to learn more about the bitcoin world. The classic "make money fast" scheme.

Signature campaigns are completely different than the whole bounty thing, signature campaign managers want quality posts and a specific member role is required to join, which means that you cannot have double accounts etc.

Actively contributing in the forum, I think that's the way to earn merit here.
Some members just earned their rank from newbie to legendary, so it's not impossible for any use who have love in the forum and who have love in crypto.

newbies, at least most of them are here for a bounty related job, they aren't contributing as most of their posts are just reports.

I believe if you like to rank up, just be more active and share something that everyone will benefit in terms of knowledge.
There's a lot to share and there's a lot to learn IMO, regardless of your forum rank.

Very true, some people think that if you are a bounty hunter means that you are a spammer. I have seen some known and high ranking forum users who joined signature campaign but still made informative posts and discussions and get merit because of it. However, mostly think that bounty hunters are spammers and not what I just explained.

You don't have to necessarily be active to get merit, but when you are participating in a discussion bring something useful to the table. We all know that being active increases your chances of getting merit, but its not the only way. For example, there's multiple users that post only when they need too, and they earn a decent amount of merit. I like to look at the ratio of someone earning merit, as a more telling way rather than their overall merit. This can be determined by looking at their merit history, and comparing their recent posts on their last posts page.

I think there's been account farms which range in the hundreds, to probably even the thousands of accounts that are owned by the same person. I don't really know how they get the time to do it all, assuming its not been automated. I feel these are people who are currently struggling outside of Bitcoin, and need money. Hence, they try to brute force bounties, which usually only pay peanuts.

Many people  also want to get rich in order to earn virtual currency，but the Bitcoin forum is not just a bounty or airdrop, etc. It is important for a group of people with consensus to develop the forum together.

Most newbie hunters dont want to participate in active discussions they dont really care what is going on with crypto at all and they only care how to earn altcoins if you noticed 90% of newbies here want to join bounty with no knowledge about the forum, rules, etc..thats why Im proposing to most BM out there to dont just accept newbies at atleast a Jr member and above.

No need to chase the number of posts on the forum. Sometimes this is very annoying. It is enough to have one, but a very useful topic, which is very useful. And as a consequence, such topics have a lot of merits.
These are the posts that are valuable on the forum. They have been relevant for a very long time. And the authors who created such topics deserve widespread recognition.
I think newbies if they want to achieve something on the forum, should set themselves similar goals.
It would be useful to create such a post, reading which many people could gain a lot of useful information. But unfortunately, the reality is that we come across the same topics over and over again, which are an eyesore.
