Ultrawide monitors: 21:9 or 32:9?

I’m in the market for an ultrawide monitor and can’t decide between 21:9 or 32:9. I haven’t really used either in person so I don’t have any preferences, as I’m stuck on the standard 16:9 now.

For 50% productivity, 30% gaming and 20% movies/videos, which aspect ratio would you recommend?

I used to have two 16:9 monitors and I switched to a single 21:9 and there is plenty of space on the screen.

For me 21:9  is totally enough. I used 16:9 for many years and just switched into 21:9. To be honest, 32:0 just seemed to wide and I didn't really like it in the store. Best is to just go into a store and look at the different monitors. Buy the one that feels best for you.
