Eth season or alt season already?

The altcoin season has already begun a long time ago, so at any time the altcoin season may end, and perhaps vice versa, the altcoin season will still last for a long time, so you need to constantly monitor the cryptocurrency market in order to see by yourself what is happening in the cryptocurrency world.

Well we are already in alt season as you can see in the market the altcoins were increasing so high seems they are trying to reach the all time high. This current condition of the market I don't think if this is right time for you to invest but if you hold crypto for long then for sure you will earn profit. I recommend pick ethereum because I still believe that it can reach $5k or more in the future, I can not tell when but you know how potential ethereum is, it will get more popular just like bitcoin.

Honestly it doesn't look like we are in altcoin season yet instead it looks like we are in top altcoins season, all the altcoins that are benefiting from Bitcoin bull market presently are top altcoins, I believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not done yet, there are still many buying bitcoin for accumulation and not for profits, this is why I'm confused, in 2017 it looks like whales are the only ones in play but now we have real bitcoin accumulators

Yeah, Ethereum long term holders would be smiling by now, knowing fully well that their portfolio has increased massively in USD value, i bought about $30 worth of Eth at the time it was $710,and right now the value has increased alot from $30 to about $50+,but it seems to like its just Ethereum and major altcoin that are pumping, so I doubt if there's an altcoin season now.

You should not expect altcoin to happen when bitcoin will still go down. imagine this when bitcoin will be going back again to the 20k range and does it make sense to see altcoin to be pumped?

When bitcoin down almost altcoin keep going down and happening right now because almost altcoin dump after bitcoin price down from $41k become $33k, just waiting will bitcoin keep going correction or not because most expectation with altcoin price to be down. Maybe it is a good time for an altcoin to start rise and have a bull run like what bitcoin does before. With the correction of bitcoin that happened now, the altcoin can try to increase and we can hope that one of the coins that we have can get the bull run so that we can sell the coin at a high price. It is still hard to know if the altcoin season will take action after bitcoin gets correction now because the altcoin has already dropped too deep before and the altcoins need more support to lift the price.

Eth is very dependent to bitcoin price movement meaning he is always following the movement of bitcoin either it increase or decrease. And now Eth is almost ready to break it's ATH record but the correction is starting to happen already and I wonder if Eth can stay strong at $1k in this correction.

The problem with Ethereum now is that many of these tokens are talking away value from its platform, I have a feeling people are overestimating the price potential of Ethereum, just look at the gas price recently, people are paying $10 for transaction and you want the price of Ether to hit $1k, that means people will start paying $100 per transaction

There is never an exciting time to buy any coin, tokens of any atlcoins when the fall heavily and you were able to be buy at the bottom. That way, you get to  sell at good price in future.

The best answer is always follow the Bitcoin trend . Altcoins are just depending on Bitcoin price. Maybe between June-July this year, altcoins season could come. After a 3 years this price is the highest of Ethereum.
