Update Electrum 3.0.2

I'm new here.
I have a walet Electrum ver. 3.0.2
I download Electrum 3.3.8.1
How can i get my bitcoins from the old version to the new ?
I also bought yesterday bitcoins. The were send to the adres of the 3.0.2 version, but the didn't arrive.

Why would you download such an old version? The latest one is 4.0.9. Make sure to download it from here and verify the installation file. Your wallet should open without any problems since wallet files are not removed during updates or uninstallation. Do you have your recovery seed just in case?

When you update Electrum, all you are updating is the software which opens your wallet file. You are not changing the wallet file.

The were send to the adres of the 3.0.2 version, but the didn't arrive.

Versions of Electrum earlier than 3.3 will not sync to protect against a vulnerability, so you would never see the coins arriving when using 3.0.2. You should update to the latest version, 4.0.9, by following the links Rath_ has shared above, and then open your wallet file with that version.

If when you open your wallet with 4.0.9 you still cannot see the bitcoin you sent to your wallet, then you are either opening the wrong wallet file or you sent the coins to the wrong address.

Why get the older version instead of the latest?. It's better to have this 4. version.

With the use of your seed phrase, you can easily backup the previous bitcoin to your account. Unless you forget to store this and uninstall the electrum without having any backup.

Download the lastest version which is 4.0.9, you can download it from electrum official site (electrum.org). Also, do not forget to verify.

Yes. You can do that by importing your seed phrase to the new electrum wallet that you will download.

It will be good to make use of blockchain explorer to track the transaction by checking the transaction hash/id.

Find out the wallet data file on your desktop appdata folder.

You will find wallet data file on this directory: C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets
change User_Name to your own username

copy the data file from old directory to new directory then open electrum wallet normally, you will get all what you want.

Uninstall the old version just like other programs before installing the latest one. If it doesn't work for some reason, you could also use the "Standalone Executable" version which uses the same data directory as the normal version, so your wallet should load automatically.
