Who done nothing for the forum except being a most active supporter of a scam called deep onion  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057229.0 here it is explained why it was a scam. Simply talking some chinese dudes copied a code from github, then premined 70% of coins, called it airdrop and started to stake and sell the premine secretly. 30% of left coins was given to massive amount of shils in 40 so called airdrops to bump the topic. That topic was the biggest topic in the forum history full of spam.

When he realized that new clean profile is needed he abandoned his old profile saying it was hacked (which was a lie) and created a new one

Surprise surprise ....It was our friend who is now on DT2 dragonvslinux  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1170966 If dragonvslinux will go to DT1 (there is a big possibility of that, we will have a creator of a biggest airdrop scam on DT)

Now let me explain why this all happened. There is no secret that some DT members are fighting with each other. Here was the same situation.
OgNastywas attacked by Vod many times. So when Vod saw that OG gave a negative feedback to dragonvslinux and added him to his distrust list he jumped and without any reason gave him a counter positive and added him to his trust list.

Same with eddie13 who had the fight with mosprognoz who left the forum. When he saw that mosprognoz gave a neg to dragonvslinux he jumped and gave dragonvslinux  counter positive and added him to his trust list.

So you can be a scammer or just a regular user and suddenly because of some idiots who does not care about anything but their personal things and based on some kind of childish revenges you will became DT. I believed the issue people (like me) had was his wording - "well known" is a phrase idiots use to boost credibility where there is none.

If you say someone is a "well known scammer" - you better back that up with proof.  Otherwise, just say someone "scams" and people don't need to investigate your ability to draw conclusions.

I was trying to make out what all this drivel was about until I got to that sentence.  Then everything started to make sense, lol.  A sockpuppet newbie picking up mosprognoz' vendettas isn't all that common, kind of hard to miss.

The fact, as far as I can see, is that dragonvslinux is not a well-known scammer at all, and I have yet to see solid evidence that he is. 

DT members fight amongst one another, that's true.  That's always been true, but so what?  And I won't argue that the trust system isn't broken, because I think it is--but it's what we've all got to work with, so either accept it or go find another forum to post on.  Nobody who's posted in this thread so far owns bitcointalk.org as far as I know.  We're all guests here, free to make suggestions, yes, but this particular one (that the trust system sucks) has been brought up many times before, and Theymos hasn't indicated that he's inclined to change much.

TL;DR: Suck it up or move on.

dragonvslinux is not a scammer, it’s been said above but if you really do not or can not accept the current trust system the way it is then you need to either learn to accept it or find somewhere else to post. they os is not going to change the way things are because you don’t like it OP.

But yes the trust system is broken because it resists transparent objective standards.

So yes a scammer can use the trust system to deter, discredit and punish honest members who report DT scamming or other directly financially motivated wrongdoing.

On top of that they can block legit flags
Trade red tag removal
Give merit and trust includes to incentivise blocking legit warnings or bolstering bogus warnings.

It's a total sham.
Literally worse than no system. Far worse.

Imagine nearly 2 years in with the indisputable evidence plastered everywhere.

Ask yourself why? Why would DT fight tooth and nail to resist transparent objective standards than would ensure everyone is treated equally and scammers are punished and free speech and freedom to report scammers without fear of reprisal is returned?

Even more worrying why the designer is not immediately moving to such a system.

The flagging system was a trojan.

It rolled in promising objective standards but all it did was free up the tagging system to have even greater power to abuse members with the same level of punishment as before. So really it simply widened the scope for abuse massively.  No more requirement for scamming or any financially motivated wrongdoing just tag people for anything and still crush their ability to paid2post or trade.

The bigger question is how much does it even matter now 90% plus of the best members left or hardly post?
That is the worst part. The forum has died whilst other crap places have grown and expanded.

This was the core hub for crypto and it has simply died.  That is a fucking sad. I wonder if it can even be fixed if we cut the over policing and reintroduced level playing field where people felt there was still opportunities here without pandering to the whims of a handful of turds. Whenever I try to use reddit or Twitter or these other crap places they are not a patch on how this forum once was.

I've tried to suggest numerous improvements to fix the place up, all have been rejected.
