It depends what strength teams they put out. If they both start their strongest XI’s then I think Man City will win, Pep’s squad have won many trophies before, lots of United’s team are relative noobs to winning big games & trophies. Anything can happen though, it’ll be a good game.

I will always predict Manchester city to Manchester united because the latter has been lagging behind lately. Also, being that they win Chelsea is not a guarantee that they can win Manchester City.

Knowing that Man United could potentially take the lead in the Premier League makes me think that they won't put out all of their best players and with that i'm leaning on Man City to win this derby. I just can't bring myself to bet on Man United even though they're doing well recently I still think Man City have the edge and their odds sitting at +100~ makes me want to bet them even more.

I think we will watch a very exciting match. I know that EFL Cup is not as important as FA Cup. But the big matches are usually enjoyable watching here too. Cavani will not play at Manchester Utd. Ederson, Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres will not play at Manchester City. I expected Manchester Utd could win too but it went the opposite way. i also thought Manchester united can do something today, they couldn't even score, thank god i didn't bet on this game, i was thinking about BTTS but i was not convinced to go with it, Man city deserved the win though.

Most probably the team couldn't stand on their opponent, because of strong support that they've built since the game begun. More attempts of goal have been failed, that's how unlucky they were on that situations. Their strategy didn't succeed, and been overtaken totally by Man City with a bigger victory leaving Man united with a zero score.
