Everyone won't get lucky to win on contests and games. Myself used to save little by little, which means for a long I used to hold the signature campaign payments. Gambling could be a part of our life, we got into gambling for some reason but this does not mean that we should have to put a lot of money in gambling aiming for big returns. That's right, we can't be lucky always and there is a big possibility that we even lose more than winning (real facts). Saving more, gambling less, this gonna be the best idea to take and this will also help us from not get addicted to gambling since we can manage our gambling lifestyle.

If you are still a student and you haven't gambled for six years, I wonder how young you were when you started gambling!? Unless you started studying at an old age.

To clear the air around this, yes I was young when I started gambling. It was around 5th grade that I started although I was exposed to gambling ever since I was around 1st to 2nd grade circa. Back then, my town was full of people gambling on the streets so it is not that hard to notice that they are gambling. I am still around my 20s though so you could say that I am pretty young.

If you can still hold your payments and not use them for playing gambling, you will have many satoshis, and you can use them for other things besides playing gambling. But if you still want to use a small amount to gamble, you can keep some amount in your balance just to gamble. But you should remember that your chance to win will not too big compare to the loss, so you must use limitations when you gamble. Only that way, you can save your payment in another wallet and convert it into fiat to buy your daily needs.

It's hard to keep the money in your wallet if you can just access it.

I am thinking of creating a paper wallet and let all the earnings be deposited on that wallet. In that way it's hard to access it directly.

But when you got direct access to that paper wallet, it's still easy to get it. So best way would be to store the paper wallet somewhere else. Check the balance after 1 year and you got a nice extra.

For the sake of entertainment or for the hope of winning huge. Both reasons can drive you to keep some funds for your gambling activities, it's really nice to keep your money as Bitcoin always a higher chance to increase in value.

I do respect the thought of a teenager was to enjoy, entertain himself/herself which the fact that he/she earned that amount that he/she spend wasn't came from his/her parents validate his/her thought of spending it wherever he/she wants. But as a young adult that have been gone through a life of hardships this isn't a good thing to spend on. And also as a young adult i would like to leave a message to them (a teenagers) that enjoying was not bad but see to it that you have save for yourself, for your future because that's what matters most.

I will respect the teenagers who can save for himself instead of spending the money that they are not yet getting by themselves. It could make them not to think about their life because they only think about having fun. I see it happens to the young millennial now because many of them buy something or use the money to do the wrong thing they actually do not need. But that will still be okay instead of using their money to play gambling because if that happens, they will feel hard to control themselves in gambling.

Sooner he will realise it too, for now let him enjoy the payment. I once was like that but in the end realise that if I save or invested the reward I will be able to get a lot of profit when BTC pump during 2017 peak. After that I really make sure to only use minimal amount in gambling since I prepered to save no matter how big or small the reward is.

We hope he can realise it and save his payment to sell it to make a profit. That will be better to do than to use the money from the payment to gamble because that will make him lose all of his payment. We can use a minimal amount to gamble because we can hold our payment to be used for another thing, and if bitcoin price can increase, that means, we will make a lot of money from the payment.

Yes, there's probably a lot of users that have gambled their signature payments at some point. Whenever I get my payments on my account I always withdraw them right away straight to my wallet. I still gamble regularly but not on casino games though.

This is an interesting & funny thread topic lol, since I've joined a gambling signature campaign today, I have no clue what to do with the campaign earnings but probably they will be directly to my cold storage wallet to hoooodl them. Everyone isn't gambler who participates in gambling website sig campaign. But still here are many participants who does gambling. Normally sig campaign payments are made to participants wallet address. So the user need to transfer it to a casino if he/she wish to gamble with that amount. Now I'm participating in a campaign which pays my balance in my account at the casino. And I'm placing bets with that amount. Don't know what non-gamblers do with their payments when they received it in gambling site account. Maybe they withdraw it to their wallet.

The real temptation is if you follow a campaign where the payment is credited to your account, because I myself once participated in a campaign where the payment was credited to the Gambling account. several times I actually had to deposit to play. cannot withdraw campaign payment. not everyone but must have experienced

It's also much better to collect all the payouts from the signature campaign and every time I want to gamble regularly it can make finances better than spending all of it on casino bets, but everyone is different but what I do of course in financial management has to be. can be managed even better, because I feel when I am addicted to gambling, the spending cannot be controlled.
So invested or used as trading capital may be much better.

Since bitcoins rose above 35,000 USD I am not sure if I should still be taking my signature earnings for gambling. Bitcoins became so valuable over the last few weeks that it might be better to just hold them for now. For my last deposit into my poker account I used fiat currency. Nothing is much better when we do try to compare investment than with gambling and its never been worth on considering that both things are the same.

Yes, it is hard to keep the money in the wallet, and there are many temptations to use the money to gamble. Perhaps, what we need is to control ourselves and try hard to manage the money, so we don't easily use the money for playing gambling. If we can do that, I am sure that we can limit our access and money to gamble.

If you care about your bitcoin, you will save the earning and not using for playing gambling because if you can have many bitcoin in your wallet, you can sell it when bitcoin increases higher.

As long as you can have the things needed in gambling, perhaps, you will have a chance to make money from gambling. But that will be difficult as we need to manage the emotion, money, and ourselves, so we can have that chance. Not many gamblers can do that, while the rest will not survive in gambling and lose their money.

What I do with my signature campaign earnings is to use them to buy cryptos for me to do trading with. I always do trading and this is where a large chunk of my crypto goes to. I gamble sometimes but that is now only for entertainment purposes with still the goal of earning some money from it. I do not use the earnings for any other thing than to purchase more crypto to be used in my trading exercises. That is how I spend it.

I joined this forum almost 9 years back in 2012 and have been participating in various signature campaigns ever since 2013. My first campaign was the PrimeDice signature campaign, which used to pay BTC2.40 per month (with the current exchange rates, that would be around $84,000 per month). Now I am not sure about how much of that amount I used for gambling. My guess is that it will be somewhere around 5% to 10%. I don't even remember how much I earned from various signature campaigns till now.. so it is really hard to make the calculations.

Well, I have never gambled mine. I however could bet on things that interest me without gambling (or without taking big betting risk).
I promote mine because of safe betting, to help the Bitcoin economy, encouraging people to take less betting risk during bets, and most importantly there are prizes to be won.
I prefer to depend on payment that comes from safe bets rather very risky bets. So things I promote through sig campaign has to be helpful and good for interested bettors otherwise I would be encouraging and feeding on people's misery

As someone that gambles quite a bit I usually gamble on them and from time to time I keep the whole or some portion of funds in their website to play some of the games, more specially if they have sportsbook as well.

It's actually really hard to ignore the urge to gamble while you have the funds ready on a online casino so I think many people that are active on gambling section do the same and at the very least place a few bets there before moving the funds.
